Great feeder for the price
I was apprehensive to buy this feeder when I saw it for under $10 but so far I am really happy with it. I bought this because we had just moved into a new house and we had a couple finches that would visit the yard. Now after having the feeder for a few weeks, we have at least 12 regulars visiting the feeder.I live in Arizona so we will see how well this feeder holds up next year in the excessive heat we get. So far, the quality seems great though. The metal mesh that holds the seeds in has held up well so far. We've had a woodpecker and a couple doves try to land on it and the feeder still hung well and there was no damage after the woodpecker. The feeder is super easy to fill. My ONLY issue with filling the feeder is that the point where you lock in the top is a recess inside the feeder so you need to block that when filling the feeder or the seeds prevent it from closing properly. I usually roll up a small damp paper towel and put it there while filling it, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do that, it's a design flaw and doesn't cause any major issues but is the reason I gave 4/5. This feeder also can hold A LOT of seed. I have a sunflower/safflower mix in the feeder and the birds haven't had any issue getting seeds out of the mesh or the openings at the bottom. The color looks great, I bought the copper one and it looks like what was pictured in the photo. The plastic feels very durable as well. I have this in a half sun/half shade area and so far there is no fading or warping in at least 95° weather so far.Collectively, it's a great feeder and I most likely will purchase another one.

Easy to load & clean
Purchased this cute lighthouse bird feeder for our sparrows & other birds. It’s very cute, and easy to fill and clean. Although it’s plastic, it’s quite dense & seems like it will last. Birds love it!

Not nearly as sturdy as I'd hoped.
While it claims to be made out of copper, it's a really just thin plastic, and weighs next to nothing. It looks nice as a mantle decoration, but I haven't had the courage to fill it and release it out to the wilds; especially after seeing some of the other reviews of the plastic itself being eaten by squirrels. At least I got it on sale...

birds like it
the plastic was a little flimsy and it was inconvenient to fill with bird seed. It does look attractive.

Love the shape
I love the shape of my new bird feeders. It isn't built quite as study as I had hoped, but still worth the money. Starting to notice birds.

Number 1 Comment - This is totally cheap plastic.Does it look nice? Yes, Will it hold bird seed? Yes Can birds eat out of it? YesDo I think it will last more than a year? Probably not.Mine was received with the locking button on the top almost completed destroyed. I just cut it off with some wire cutters because it was useless. Luckily the top does turn and lock into place. The feeder is all plastic. The little "rails" that go from top to bottom are like plastic wire and bend easily. I'm not holding out hope that this is going to last very long. I'd be surprised if it makes it through one cold Winter. We'll see. I probably wouldn't have bought this had I seen it in a store, even for $10. But if you want a really cheap bird feeder that looks nice, this may be a good choice. I'll check back later once I've had it outside for a time.*** UpdateIt's been almost a year and to my surprise this feeder has survived. One of the cable lines that run from top to bottom has broken. It does not look like it was chewed so I assume a squirrel tried to hang on the feeder and it just broke. I am absolutely amazed that the squirrels haven't chewed this thing to pieces. Maybe whatever it is made of is not attractive for them to chew. I don't know. I do know I have a big plastic feeder that I fill with sunflower seed that hangs very close to this one and the squirrel have almost completely chewed all of the perch part around the feeder. It's just simply amazing to me.On top of everything I stated above, the birds do seem to love this feeder. Every time I look out my window there are always birds on this feeder, Red Bellied, Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Titmouse, Cardinals and many many other visiting birds. I fill this feeder more than any other even though I use the same bird feed in many of my feeders (nut and berry mixes) and it's not because the feed is falling on the ground. So I have mixed feeling.. I still think it's a cheaply made feeder but I can't complain because the birds seem to love it. No I'm not changing my rating. :)

Cheap and Not Functional
This bird feeder is made of plastic and appears to be cheap! Also it gravity feeds too much seed into the bottom tray. When a bird feeds most of the seed falls to the ground. The first day I put it up more than 50% of the seed was used. I am usually quite generous in my reviews, but with this product, I strongly do not recommend it.

A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT
This bird feeder was extremely expensive, difficult to clean, not sturdy at all, kept falling apart! I will be returning it...it is not at all what the description said it would be...very disappointing
