Does this have a coating to prevent upset stomach?

Yes--I've been using it for arthritis for several years and have had no stomach problems.

Is this the same as bayer advanced extra strenght?

No, it is not the same. The Advanced Bayer Extra Strength was wonderful and they took it off the market. It was the same as this Bayer Extra Strength except that it had an additive that made it act a lot quicker. I absolutely loved it for my serious arthritis. It came in a bottle with a purple top. When I couldn't find it anymore, I called Bayer to find out why and they said "It was a corporate decision to discontinue it." I bought it everywhere that I could find it. Now they are discontinuing this extra strength bayer "corporate decision" and want you to substituite it with the Back and Body Extra strength. I don't want it because it has caffeine in it and I don't want that.

Where is this made in 2020? China?

I don't know but I don't think is China. I bought one pack in 2019 and was made in Spain, lot # 85286862, expires in 11/20 NAA70RN. Hope it will help.
