We put this over our dining room table. It’s close to the ceiling, and it’s absolutely gorgeous when it’s on. A little tedious to put together, but worth it.

Everything you need is inside the box. It took 45 minutes to assemble but well worth it. It looks stunning in the living room. I found out that you can change the light settings by turning the light switch on and off until you reach the desired lighting. Turning the light switch on and off allows you to go through the light settings, low, medium and high. Very happy with the purchase.

This is a pretty light fixture and easy to put together. However, this lamp has no UL certification that the United States requires for safety. There were no instructions for connecting the wires and the video on Amazon only showed a picture of a white box that you push the wires in (but it was not in our box); China uses blue, red, and yellow/green wires and the U. S. Uses black and white wires and a ground wire. I believe that the red wire would be connected to the US black (hot) wire and the blue wire would connect to the US white (neutral) wire and the green/yellow wire would be the ground. There was also a ballast with in the lamp that the red and blue wire came out of. Hmmm, I didn’t know that led lights needed a ballast. I have wired 16 lamps in my house and I know what I’m doing. But the fact that this light is not US certified (UL) worries me and I don’t wish to have a fire. So, I’m returning this light. I don’t know how bright the lights are, didn’t get to that point. It was easy to put together though.

I really like the design of this light. Assembly will take a while… just take your time, it’ll be worth it. Electrician informed me it was not dimmable, that was a little disappointing. Still, the overall effect is nice and it definitely illuminates the room.

It's overall a nice light with a nice design. It was a little smaller than expected but not bad. Sitting it up on the other hand was definitely tedious. You need a lot of patience to put everything together. Hopefully this lasts a long time.

We just installed this light fixture. It took about 30 minutes to assemble the rods and less than 5 minutes to install. We are going to get a decorative base to put under to add a little extra flare to our dining room light.

Let's discuss the elephant in the room first: Assembly Required. What's the point of buying something made in China if they're not going to actually exploit the cheap labor market to assemble the thing? This took me nearly 3 hours to put together, and as I typically bill $125/hour for Mechanical Time, somebody ows me $375. This is not your typical click-snap-bop done ceiling light. This is meticulous and finnicky assembly, requiring modified or specialty tools, and a significant amount of mechanical experience to prevent cross-threading nuts or twisting delicate wires to the point of failure. There are better ways to design this product for ease of assembly for the end consumer.Even more fun to be had upon installing the assembled fixture, as the slot spacing on the base plate is NON-STANDARD. It is not possible to center the base plate over the octagon box in the ceiling, as the spacing is incorrect, causing the assembly to shift one direction or the other. Fortunately, the fixture width is enough to cover the offset, but still absolutely incredible that they got something so simple so wrong.As for the final product, it's...underwhelming, at best. You can take all the measurements you want, do all the mockups in the world, and nothing will quite prepare you for how disappointing the size and appearance is. It conveys "cheap and chintzy." I was also worried that the 4500k color temperature would not be "natural white" as stated in the listing, and I was correct. It's shifted a bit blue, and comes across as borderline "daylight" blue. Just neutral enough to be usable in my space (a games room), but definitely not something I'd go to for a typical living space, as it's far too sterile a look.For the Tinkerers: ADVANCED. Tiny SMD chips on fixture-specific boards secured into brass tubes at the end of the rods. I suspect this is the failure point some reviews have highlighted showing specific lights not working. Fixture is easily and safely able to be bench-tested prior to assembly. Fixture grounding is inadequate due to powder coating and assembly method.All in all, I cannot recommend this light. I may just salvage it for parts, or throw it away.

The light is beautiful, but I ordered gold and somehow received black! Dissapointed because I didn't have time to return and have it switched out because my contractor was leaving the country!
