国内メーカーの小さいスピニングリールに飽きた方に、オススメです。 S社、D社には無いデザインがいいです❗ ボールベアリングが8個入ってますが、固めグリスのせいか空転させた時の回転は悪いです。 しばらく使ったら、柔らかめのグリスに変えたいと思います。 ※しばらく使用してから、柔らかいグリスに変更したら劇的に滑らかに回転するようになりました。 オーバーホール際はワンウェイローラー側のバラシはオススメしません、S社D社に比べ非常に難しいです。 画像で解るように、モアバイツ社製のボディーキーパー3が装着可能です。 ロッドはダイワ製リバティクラブルアー5105TLFSを合わせてみました。 追伸 参考になるか解りませんが、手持ちのシマノ ナスキー500 と比べてみました。 ナスキー500 にゴメクサスハンドルノブとリールスタンド装着で205g ミッチェル310 にモアバイツボディキーパー3装着で 183g

Experience with Mitchell 300 spinning reel
I bought two Mitchell 300 spinning reels from amazon, about 3 months ago and both broke at the base of the bail in what I consider normal use. One broke first time out and the other yesterday. I fish mainly for peacock bass with friends from a Robalo R160 boat in the Panama Canal Basin. This has not happened to me in any of my other reels including García Mitchell 410 which I still use. It is my favorite light reel. Additionally I tried to find a bail replacement kit for the first reel that broke and Amazon did not have it. Nor was I able to find other vendor. My advise is to be extremely gentle if you use a Mitchell 300 spinning reel. Here is a picture of the broken reel. Both broke the same way, in the same place. Seems to be a weak spot. My interest is to help fix it. Mitchell has to go back to check the old Garcia Mitchell reels of 50 years ago and use that design or similar for this bail system. I will buy 2 as soon as they re engineer it.

History
My uncle gave me my first Mitchell (300) in 1959. I am happy that Mitchell still makes quality spinning reels. This new 310 is much smaller, lighter and has a rock-solid precision feel comparible to much more expensive reels. I have just ordered a 308 as well.
