So I purchased these cakes for a good friend of mine's birthday. she's a bourbon and whiskey girl and she likes cake so I thought these would be the perfect gift! I was hesitant at first because of the mixed reviews. However, I'm glad I got these. I must've gotten a really good batch, because these cakes arrived and were super moist, very flavorful, and most importantly we could actually taste the alcohol. I thought that it may be a slight hint of a taste of it, or we wouldn't be able to taste it at all, but we were genuinely surprised by how dominant the alcohol and flavor of these cakes were. I'm afraid to buy them again because these exceeded my expectations and I would hate to get a bad batch after getting these amazing cakes. 10 out of 5, for sure!

Nicely favored, moist and good sizes for special gifts!

Purchased for friend for Xmas!

I got two of these sets for gifts a few weeks apart. One set was on the dry side and had little flavor, I thought this was a "gimmick", so I wasn't excited when I opened the 2nd set, the 2nd set was moist, full of flavor and I was like "YES", these are great. So, hopefully you get good ones, if you don't, see what the return policy is, because when these are good, they are GOOD.

I like everything but the price.

The moisture. The taste.

So to make long story short, I thought these were for tart burner had no ideal these were edible. Needless to say I’m not fond of those flavors especially to eat. Tried to send back same day I received them But my luck it’s NON RETURNABLE!! Just thought people should know

My son just got married in Laguna Beach, California. He and his wife met/live in TN so when it came time for the rehearsal dinner, these were a terrific nod to the home state. (The venue said no one ever ordered desserts so they stopped putting them on the menu, but I felt the need to offer something after a fancy dinner.) I looked at all the bakeries in town but nothing seemed right. Finally I went on Amazon and searched “fancy desserts.” I found these little cakes and they couldn’t have been more perfect. I ordered 24 and all of them were snatched up. Everyone loved them! They were unique enough to impress, in their little boxes with their hint of alcohol. But they were also easy for people to take home if they didn’t want to eat it right then. A scoop of ice cream on top would’ve been a lovely way to serve it, but we didn’t even really need that. I definitely recommend them. They we’re a great finish for a wonderful night!
