Is Everything It Claims To Be !
Took me 15 minutes or so of frustration trying to get started. Wound it up OK - but couldn't get the gyro going at first. Directions didn't help. But once I got it going - - it was amazing.it is well made - worked right out of the box and Ive had not problems with it at all.To get started - you don't 'rotate' your wrist - that creates counter force. Keep wrist locked and hand locked and rotate them both. Your forearm will be rotating to. Rocking motion with the ball- thumb up and down opposite of pinky going down and up. So your hand, wrist and forearm are going 180 in one direction then 180 in the other. Fast. Then, when it 'catches - you can do different motions. At first, I could only do 2 minutes. But you can build up, as you strengthen your muscles.

worked once I cleaned it out
The media could not be loaded. An instructor at a class i was at had one of these, recommended it for wrist and grip strength training. After playing around with it at lunch it was clear it really was a workout and would help. I ordered the same one he had and when it arrived.... it wouldn't work. I didn't understand because using his was easy, just load up the spring and let it go and start spinning. After a bunch of frustration I looked closer and found little bits of plastic inside the ball causing it to bind up. I used a dental pick to loosen them while using the vacuum to suck them out of there.Once those were out, it worked just fine. So taking off 1 star for having to fix a 'new' product right out of the box.

Stay Away From This Product!
Do NOT buy this product unless you have VERY STRONG THUMBS! They say easy automatic start after a few turns. They lie! I cannot get this product to start after 30+ tries, and I’m an adult male. Old, but male. The inner rotor doesn’t start even though the starter arrow ring turners turn quite fast. I am embarrassed to say that I have been taken in by the hype and the YouTube videos. The thing comes with a QR coded video, which I watched many times but still can’t get the thing to work. They said each ball has been tested before shipping. I don’t believe that for one minute! Shame on you. Shame on me for falling for it…

Excellent fun for 6 grandsons with a competitive nature!
My daughter was given something on this order that was about five years ago that you had to start with a shoe string! This one rolls backwards with the arrows on the bottom. When it gets really tight, you can’t hold it No more, release and start working in a circular motion. You can kind of be hook up. It goes faster and faster and gets brighter and brighter! It does exercise your wrist. I am 65 years old and I can only do it about four minutes with the hand. It is a HOOT!If you are retired take us to McDonald’s with you when you meet your buddies to get coffee! I’m telling you people cannot keep their hands off of this thing! It’s a great conversation piece. Thank you.

Works well
This works well for my broken wrist. It takes me a minute to get it started, and I usually have to do this in my good hand. It is really strengthening my wrist.

Is this the same product?
It’s a gyro ball, and it works ok, but it definitely is labeled differently than all the other images on this product page. The box calls it a “Wrisi Ball”, and the ball itself does not say “gyro ball” but instead “wrist ball”. Are colors also sent randomly? I selected a black one and received a blue one.Otherwise, ball works as expected.

Better and cheaper!
This ball works so much better than other brands. This one has the self start feature built in that is so much better than more expensive brands where you have a separate device to start the ball or a string. This helps me a lot with hand and wrist therapy.
