Love the hex logic pads
These hex logic pads are great quality and perform excellent. This is the heaviest cutting foam pad they have. Did a great job using this and Griot’s fast correcting cream getting out moderate defects in an older vehicle. Finished with the white pad and the perfection cream by Griots. Did excellent.

Glass Shower Buffer
I used this on a random orbital buffer along with some industrial strength vinegar (wear a respirator and goggles!!!) on my glass shower. Half an hour later I rinsed the glass off, used some glass cleaner and my shower looked just like it did when I bought it.Hard water stains all gone.

Slightly more cutting than green pads
I got these as a "step up" for the green Hex Logic pads I've used on my car. The green pad is supposed to be a heavy polishing / light cutting pad and it removed light swirl marks and faint scratches with ease. My other car had a more weathered paintwork so I thought I needed more cutting power. The conclusion is that this step up is barely noticeable when used on a DA polisher. It did remove swirl marks and faint scratches with the same level of effort but it wasn't noticeably harder cutting, in fact I didn't notice much difference compared to the results with the green pad.I think the reason for that is that while the green pad has an open pore structure this orange pad has closed pores therefore the increased cutting effect could only be achieved with more force applied to the panel. This is where it gets tricky with Dual Action polishers as excessive force would just make it stall. So I presume it's a better fit for purpose on rotary machines, otherwise go for the yellow pad if you need significantly more cutting power which again is an open pore structured pad.Still no regrets in getting these pads, they remained in shape after an extensive polishing session and cleaned up well, they seem to be of great quality, well recommended with keeping the above in mind.

Expensive
I had the non quantum discs before wearing them out and looked for the next model up which was these. Real good discs however chemical guys brand more than doubles the price compared to the non branded chinese makes.Paid a lot more for them on amazon compared to other stores but overall the disk is good. Ive done 4 full car passes and the pad i estimate will be able to last one more. If i was cutting small areas it would last a lot longer.Durability on these heavy cut pads wears down very fast.

Too soft
I have pretty deep scratches in the clear coat of my BMW, and tried medium pads from almost all brands, and none of them did a thing. I'd hoped that the Heavy Cut pads from CG would be good enough. I've tried it with Menzerna 1000 and Scholl XXL Gold, and it really doesn't get the job done. Maybe 4-5 sets needed, with 4 passes each set. I was forced to buy Scholl navy pad, which is the absolute definition of "heavy cut."If you're looking at BMW paint, I'd try something else. Yes, it cuts but you'll be there all day, even with the most aggressive compounds.

The Best I Have Used
I have a JDM Subaru so the paint on my car comes off if you look at it the wrong way. Some minor marks and swirls were starting to appear so I needed to polish it.I was religiously tailing forums looking for the way to go about it without scrubbing my clear coat off. Someone recommended the blue chemguys pad.I decided to take the plunge and do it. What a result. It's just enoigj to remove swirls without taking the clear coat off which is amazing. Topped off with some 825 wax and perfect.

Awesome pad removed bird dropping damage
Great pad for my DA6 pro machine, I used some pad preparation spray from chemical guys and a light grade polish to remove some bird dropping damage to my clear coat. Couple of gentle passes and the damage is compeley removed, no marring on the paint. Cleaned pad up after use ready for next time great pad that is worthy of it's awesome reviews in detailing world.
