Amazing book new

Bought for son in law. He really enjoyed it.

I'm not a fan of this book; in fact, it is the most boring book I have ever RE-read. Even so, I've read it three times - twice for school and once for life. I bought this copy for my 77-year-old father, who said it was difficult but important to read. My 13-year-old son (who reads beyond a high school level) has read it several times. I guess you could call it a family favorite, but we find it more important than enjoyable.This copy was delivered in good time and in excellent condition. The text is a little small for us but that's a personal preference.

It took me a while to find this book. This book was delivered on time and in new condition. It came as advertised. the book even has a page ribbon so you don't have to mess with bookmarks that fall out and get lost. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

This book really makes you think. I never read it in high school, but decided to read it after picking up animal farm. Feels like an extension or supplemental plot to animal farm, but more individual character driven. I couldn’t help but reflect on the current state of the world, and draw comparisons, but it’s just a story. Definitely makes you wonder about the world, and how our important our individual freedoms are. Would recommend for people who want to learn, as a high schooler, I think I would have missed most of the lessons here, or not appreciated them at least.

Prescient voice from the past. Very sobering look at extreme government control of its citizens.

I love the book, I originally bought it in paperback but wanted a more “permanent” style for my collection so I bought the hardcover. The pages are thinner than the paperback edition but that didn’t bug me as much as this random stain that is only on 2 pages (front and back). I have not initiated a return as of yet.
