Sad to say it didn't last long . But it was our fault.

Following an operation it helped my husband pick up items if they fell to the floor.

This one I bought for the office, after making good use to the one I bought from home. I find it very useful to me as more and more I tend to drop things on the floor and I have difficulty in picking them up myself. Quality product.

Having a knee replacement,need somthing to pick up things I drop on floor,this is perfect,even picked up my earring with the magnet on the crippers! The end craber twist so you can change the angle.

Having finally submitted to senior years, I purchased one and have retained some of my 'flexibility'. It's a fact that gravity gets stronger as you get older and more lands on the floor. Great tool this, need another for my bedroom.

Does what it says apart from the magnet., not very strong just picks up one key. I few keys on my key ring. Hope I don't drop it.

I love these things. I love the green and black color scheme. I'm on the short side so these come in handy. Also when my back is hurting they have helped me get stuff off the floor or from a shelf where I would stand on my toes to stretch and reach.

I just got my new jellas after another brand bit the dust after not even 8 weeks. I know it sounds silly to be excited about getting your jellas, Lol, but i sighed in relief when it arrived. I've been needing to use a "helper" for a few years now. I am now to the point that I keep it close all day as I use it often. It gives me a freedom from asking others for help with the most insignificant tasks...and some more important things as well. I have used 3 other brands, and I can tell you hands down jellas is far superior to all of them. It's arm is stronger, the claw grip is stronger, and the handle is stronger. The other 3 were of a weaker plastic and either broke in the middle of the arm or the claw separated. Now... I definitely get my use out of these. I keep them close as I use them all day , every day. I am very conscious of the weight limits as i dont like the "down time" lol when one breaks.So any misuse would be in how often i have to rely on a reacher. Where the others have broken due to weak or poor construction and materials, I use the jellas to the point of wearing out the wire. So my only problem would be that it needs a stronger wire or coated wire or something....BUT...they all have that same problem...the others just break somewhere else first. My first jellas lasted a year, this last "other brand" didn't make it to 3 months! And it's claw was somewhat off center so when I tightened the grip it would sometimes twist the item as I was picking up (like a paper plate that I ended up dumping the crumbs onto the floor) Jellas brand lasts longer and is significantly stronger and more reliable grip. Also the magnet is a huge help. I can't say enough about the Jellas reacher/grabber tool. Far superior.
