American Truck Simulator - PC

Surprisingly relaxing game that is also huge fun for the grandkids. First thing out of their mouths is "can we play the truck game?" With a force feedback controller, 4k monitor and good video card the game really shines. Comes with bonus Euro Truck Simulator 2 which offers more diverse scenery and the option to drive on the "wrong" side of the road in England. The only caveat is that the game does not come with an activation code therefore you can't update it. Despite that for the price it's definitely worth buying.

It is a alright game but not worth the price. I PURCHASED the game but STEAM controls it and dictates when and how I use it.

I like the game, but I hate being tied into "Steam" and their website. Once in a while I like to play for relaxation, and I get a mandatory update that delays the launch of the game for up to 15 minutes, and sometimes I don't have the time to wait. I'm not an online player, I just want to play on the PC. When I disconnect from the internet and try to launch the game, half of the time the game won't launch because it forces you to connect to the "Steam" website and causes steam account problems that I had to resolve online.

I like this game but I DON'T like having to play it Online. When you are playing the game, it says that you are playing the game offline but if you disconnect then you can't play the game. So how is that playing offline. I give the game a 5 star rating because it is a great game but it is more of a challenge and there is no CB questions and answers like 18 Wheels Long Haul.

I could not evaluate this because you have to subscribe to a gaming network to load this game. This was not in the description of this product. The wrapping was so distorted that I had to remove it to read it and this warning is on the back not in the front of the package. Since I had to unwrapped it the company will not refund me my money. I will never ever buy any computer game on Amazon because of this! It was a total waste of my money and time!

I love playing this game. Very realistic. Only thing I didnt like was having to create a Steam account. I didnt really want to do that. But overall love the game and would recommend it.
