So good
The media could not be loaded. This is my 4th knife from Forsail. They’re just so good! Highly recommend.

Exquisitely manufactured presentation knife
I am not a metallurgist but I have visited the Seville Spain cutlery factories; the Spaniards learned damasking from invaders. The Japanese also knew the strength plus flexibility benefits of metal-folding, and I was curious about this Japanese-core Chinese-manufactured knife. Upon receipt I felt this was a presentation knife: the knife is packaged in a fabric-covered cardboard carton with a magnetic (I checked) latch. The carton contains the knife, a real leather belt sheath, and a microfiber polishing cloth. The metal piece at the knife's butt end has some clearly ornamental damasking decoration; the knife blade is harder to judge. Viewing the blade edgewise with a 4x hand lens, there clearly are three (and possibly five not uniformly thick) metal layers to this blade; the same layers are visible inside the blade cutout. The damask patterning on the blade is somewhat correlated to blade localized thickness, has tangible depth, and does not approach the blade sharp edge (or weaken the blade VG10 central core). I'm not equipped to judge multiple layers within the blade's VG10 central core (with a 4X hand lens no sign of layering on the knife sharp edge either before or after whetstone touch up). This is a high quality knife. The blade flips open one-handed and locks securely with no flex or side play; the blade closes one-handed. The knife edge is well-ground; I did touch up the edge (thumbnail drag test) with a whetstone and strop. The handle has a steel core deliberately hidden inside the Dalbergia wooden handle, and the handle has comfortable indentations for the index and other fingers. The Dalbergia wood is well-polished and is extremely dense with attractive fine grain. (The Dalbergia wood is sufficiently dense that I am unsure but doubt that the wood has been lacquered.) A leather thong attached to the knife butt hangs outside the real leather belt sheath. This exquisitely manufactured knife with its credible multilayer blade IMO makes a valued presentation gift.

Laser etched pseduo-damascus blade.
Sharp VG10 blade with a comfortable wood handle, this is a nice folding knife but the pattern is purely aesthetic. The blade retains its edge very well and provides a reliable and sharp cutting tool. The wood handle is smooth and looks nice. There is no belt clip unfortunately. The knife is pretty hefty overall, but feels good in hand.Blade deployment goes off without a hitch, fast, effective, and safe using the flipper mechanism. Liner lock engages reliably and safely, and is easy to disengage as well.Overall nice knife, but I'm not sure its worth quite as much as they're asking.

giftable quality
This is an amazingly beautiful folding knife. The blade pattern is mesmerizing to admire, and is very sharp. The wood handle and the leather pouch are good quality as well. We had family over for father's day and I casually pulled out the knife to .... slice an apple.... They were in awe and the knife instantly became the topic of conversation for the next 10 minutes!

Really nice knife.
Super sharp super smooth. Very fidget friendly. No pocket clip and sheath isn’t the greatest. But overall good knife.

Not so bad
This is a very nice knife nice leather sheath. And pretty pricey! The blade is great it held it's edge and stayed sharp! As for the handleAs Soon as I took it out of the clear plastic bag the wood chipped off at the bottom corner, it does feel really weak the wood for the handle! If the handle was more stronger with better wood then I think it's very worth it's price but right now a little cheaper would be fair.
