First set of these
I have never had a set of gloves like these but I am glad I got them. I like the snugness though they are sized on the small size IMO. I also like the hard knuckle and on my hands the knuckle lines up perfectly with mine. I hit my training bag with these on for a quick workout and they did absorb some shock. It would be a staggering blow to get hit in the jaw with a pair of these on a trained set of hands.I like the feel of the fingers and the gloves allow a lot of action with the fingers. Trigger pulls and using throwing knives are not hindered. Overall I feel they are as advertised and am glad I got them.

all around good gloves
I got these after I returned a pair of condor hard knuckle gloves that arrived with a small hole in the left hand. These gloves seem to have a higher quality leather than the condor gloves and they fit better. The only negative I have about the HWI gloves is that the padding underneath the hard knuckle is practically nonexistent. Hurts less to punch something bare knuckled than with these on. I took some foam padding I had in the garage and solved the problem. Still I would give these gloves four stars being that they are under 50 dollars and well made.
