They are not "black out" light diffusing, yes! they help block out the light making it not so bright...but a good amount of light still comes through. When I purchase blackout curtains I'm looking for as little light as possible to come through the fabric. But they are beautiful and thick which does help with blocking heat from coming through the window. And they are not wrinkle free. They were actually very wrinkled out of the package but that isn't a big deal for me, easy enough to take care of.My only disappointment was how much light that actually came through. Although they do dim the room nicely, so if you are looking to just soften the the rooms lighting these will work great for you! But, if you are looking for a true dark room these wont do that.

Love these! Only reason why I didn’t give it a full 5 stars, it’s not a true black out curtain but they do a great job. Wonderfully made and material is soft.

Oh my gosh these curtains are gorgeous! I was just looking for something to block the light so my dog would stop waking me up at 5AM. But these were a pleasant surprise, they are so elegant and the material is beautiful. They were long for my windows so I just rolled up the bottoms and tucked them under. The result is stunning. Incredible value for the money, 2 panels per pack. I just bought the spring loaded rods, simple install. My bedroom looks like a magazine picture now! I'm so pleased. And the room is so dark!

This is not at all 100% blackout curtain, when the sun is high, it will definitely let in some light.The quality is okDoes form some wrinkles and again the quality seems like it will last few months and then Ill have to replace it.I would not recommend this.

I like the feel of the drapery material and the blue print is very pretty. It doesn't truly black out the light. It does help against the cold, however, which is why we purchased the drapes. The width on the drapes doesn't quite cover our patio doors. The panels are 52" each, which should be a total of 104". Our patio doors measure 100", but because the drapes have the grommets,, we loose quite a few inches. We will keep the drapes, but are somewhat disappointed that they don't completely cover the width.

We just bought a new house and I’m changing the curtains. I’m very happy with these. I wanted something elegant and calming. Don’t mind the orange wall and the clutter. I think it will all come together nicely after we paint. They are thick and beautiful. A little wrinkled but I read you can put them in the dryer with a damp cloth and it should get rid of the wrinkles but it’s not too bad. They aren’t 100% black out but good enough for what I was looking for. I’m very happy with them

These are very nice weight curtains. They look just like the picture. They hang very nicely and they do block the light. If you have direct sunlight coming the window they aren't going to make the room completely dark because they are white but they do darken the room and you can lay and look out the window and not see the sun. I don't notice any lightning with these closed either.

My household loves the curtains. They are thick enough to not see through but are light enough in color to be bright and not darken the room with the lights on when closed. The colors are beautiful and work well in our living room. I do have to get 2 more panels because our window is larger and the panels do not lay perfectly flat on the rod. I would recommend these to family and friends alike.

This is not a blackout curtain at all….the sunlight comes right through it. I will definitely not recommend this product if someone is looking for blackout Curtains…these are just regular ones with no blackout effect. I will not give this product even 1 rating but there’s no other choice while giving rating.

These are very pretty in my newly renovated bedroom. A negative us that they are not as room darkening as I really need for my west facing windows.

Arrived early, nice colour, blackout works as hoped, size and quality good. Fabric feels soft, very pleased

Altho the panel are not white as pictured, the quality of it makes up for it, wrinkle free think fabric does black out most of the outside light. Perfect to cut the glare on the tv without sacrificing completely all the light of the room
