Any way to conect a camera to this and automatically preview the image? I’m trying to use my raspberry pi as a video capture to my iPad.

If you need to automatically open the preview screen when booting, you can consider writing a script to run the camera command, delay 5-6 seconds, and then write the boot item file to call this script, so that the camera can automatically run after the system starts. . 2. But if you want the camera to be turned on at any time while the system is running, you can consider setting an IO port button and writing a script that controls the camera turn-on command from the Io port

Does it support vga adapter? some do.

Sorry , it does not supports VGA Adapter.

Does it work with a gopro?

It takes HDMI as an input. It support 1080p@30fps. 30 fps might be a little slow for high quality gopro, but as long as you can change the capture settings, it should work. I don't have a gopro, but I hooked it directly into a video card on my computer. Worked with no problem without changing any settings.

Does this adapter come with the cable to connect to the Pi?

The white ribbon cable in the picture comes with it and it connects to the Pi. It does NOT come with the HDMI cable.
