Very please with my purchase
1. Functionality: Works very well for my use. So far, I've used it twice on my 2012 Honda Civic when the temp was -10F and my car wouldn't start. Plug it in, light was chasing, started the engine, boom, works like a charm.2. Jump Capability: Since I've only used it twice, and on my 2012 Civic, small car, I don't really know how well it works with SUVs & Trucks, but I would hope it work. Will update later if I use it to help out friend's cars.3. Battery Life: Fully charged, used it twice within two months, drained the battery to half or so, if I remembered correctly. So, I would say you could use it to jump start about 4-5 small cars. Not sure about bigger cars.4. Ease of use: VERY VERY easy to use. Self-explanatory. Make sure you read up on it or watch video on YouTube on how it work, especially if the battery is completely dead and the light is not chasing and you have to use the "Override" mode.5. Compactness: VERY VERY compact. I put in my work backpack and bring it with my to work every day in case my car or a friend/coworker's car broke down due to battery drain or something. Or in the sever cold weather of -10F or below and car doesn't start.Overall, I would say it's very useful. Choose your own model and go down if you have to to save money. I bought theNOCO Boost X GBX55 1750A 12V model because I want it to be at least strong enough for my Tundra.

A Must-Have for Every Vehicle – Reliable, Powerful, and Compact
The NOCO Boost X GBX55 has officially earned a permanent spot in my car. I’ve used it multiple times already—from jump-starting a completely dead SUV battery to helping a friend with a diesel truck and it hasn’t failed once. The power this thing delivers is impressive for such a compact device. What really sets it apart is the ease of use and safety features. It’s nearly foolproof no sparks, no confusion, just connect and go. The USB-C fast charging is a game changer, and the built-in flashlight is surprisingly bright. It also doubles as a power bank, which is super handy when you're off the grid or during a power outage. If you drive anything especially in cold climates or long trips this is a smart investment. Peace of mind in your glove box!

Review
Hell yes this is a great item!.. I have a smaller version that I carried around and forgot I had for a couple of years until my battery shot craps, I remembered it, pulled it out and hooked it up and started right away. After 2 years of just sitting in heat, cold, whatever. Highly recommend. ( I bought this one to go in our truck, I put the smaller one in our car.)

Ford V8 5.0 Starts Without Hesitation.
Started my 2011 Ford F150 Lariat Super Crew v8 5.0 without issue.Battery was completely dead. I did not check voltage but no lights on entry and no power locks.Connected my fully charged Noco that has been in the vehicle for 2-3 months. Power on. Counted to 40. Truck started as if it was fully charged.-I have about (12) Noco products. None of them have cause me issue or hesitation. The Noco GB40 took some extra work to start the truck in the past. It works well on my V8 4.6, my v6 3.5 and my v6 3.0. The 5.0 is just a little larger and seemed to tax the GB40.First (2) of these specific units were bought from a refurbished. Both were dead on arrival.Bought a new unit. Brand new. No issues.

Dead after 14 months and 8 uses
The media could not be loaded. Another dead unit. I think the unit works good when it worked but after light use and 14 months it's completely dead and will not take a charge. I understand there's a year warranty but I would not buy this thing again without a seriously longer warranty. Again this was used lightly in my garage or driveway. This was not a unit that traveled around or was used for commercial purposes. I probably used it 8 times at most.Lots of death of the Noco on YouTube. I'm surprised that they don't have a mechanism to swap it out even if I had to pay a surcharge. Maybe that's a hint to Noco as I would be willing to pay a $40 surcharge or something just swap it out for a new one

Worth the money
Finally used mine for the first time I needed it. Was in a hurry and realized my new hardwired dashcam sucked all the life out of my battery. Remembered I bought this thing and went to the trunk to get it. Simply popped the hood and put the terminals onto the battery posts and went and it started the first try. No hesitation or slow starting. Fired right up. Unhooked it from the battery, put it on my charger in my garage and went for a drive. It took less than 5 minutes from start to finish to have my car running again. It was charged up by the time I got back home. Threw it back into it's bag and back into the trunk for the next time. It payed for itself today, great product!

Simple, instant start, dope design.
Incredible! Everybody needs one of these. Completely dead battery, like nearly permanently dead battery. Jumped near instantly 3 or 4 times lol which was just enough times to get the car to a shop to replace the battery. I’m impressed.I recommend getting the durable rubber storage case that fits your model. Totally worth it for weather protection.
