It’s working great!
I bought the Bestway 10’x30” inflatable pool with filter. I covered the ground with a tarp and large interlocking foam floor tiles. I’ve had many of these pools in the past, and I know that weeds can grow right up through a tarp and the plastic. (But it doesn’t cause the pool to leak.) The filter pump is the smallest and weakest I’ve ever gotten with this type of pool. I’m not sure it’s doing anything. But the filter gets dirty, so maybe it is. I’ve had it up and running for almost a month now, used by 6 little grandkids. No teens or adults yet. That water is freezing! I don’t try to save these pools. For 50 bucks they are a one and done item. I don’t want to have to clean one after sitting in the shed all winter. I’d rather start fresh with a new one. I think next year we will go with the 12 footer. You do have to get the chlorine with floater, skimmer, cover and tester strips and all that stuff, and keep clean. But it’s great, affordable summer fun.

Very frustrated
Ive had nothing problems with this pool since ive gotten it a month ago. The pool collapsed on me the first time not even a week after setting it up.Ive reported it to the shipper and got only one response and that was them saying well theres a hole somewhere and to find it and patch it. How can they sell me a pool that is already defective and has multiple holes in the liner of the floor in the pool from just unboxing it? Not only have i had issues in the pool leaking water constantly, the pool has collapsed on me 3 times. It recommends only 24 inches of water or 80% of the 30 inches they say it can hold but I cant put more than 18 to 19 inches of water without the pool shifting and collapsing and flooding my backyard. Ive set up multiple pools in my life time every year and this one is by far the simplest one to set up and the most problematic one ive had. I cant keep filling this pool up.My water bill is going to be sky high and i feel they should not only send me a new pool, they should pay my water bill for their pool being defective. I want a replacement pool or my money back because i know its not from me setting up the pool.Ive been forced to drain it all the way out and reposition the pool to make sure its level and it keeps getting worse and now its leaking even worse and im losing an inch and a half of water everyday or so.They either need to replace it and come set it up for me or give me my money back. I was very grateful to find a pool for my kids but ive clearly gotten the lemon of the group.

So glad that I purchased this!
We’ve had this in service now for a little over a month and the grandkids love using it and it is easy maintenance for me. We set it up on our patio, which of course has a slope on it, but it has still worked out great. I might consider using some 2x6’s and sand to level the patio first next year, but it really hasn’t been a problem. We set it up in 30 minutes and then read the directions the following day - not that I’d recommend that, but it was that easy to set up. It seems to be well built and very durable so far. I love that it comes with a filter pump so that it only needs to be filled with water once/season. I would guess that I spend about 5 minutes/day on maintenance - rinsing & changing filters, checking & adding chemicals (I shocked it once & used water clarifier after a guest tracked a bunch of dirt into it, but otherwise all I need is a little liquid chlorine each day & water stays clear) and using a net occasionally to skim a few bugs off the top. I also purchased water test strips, a pool cover, a leaf skimmer net, replacement filters and a $25 pool vacuum (all from Amazon) to make a complete set. I wouldn’t be surprised if this pool is durable enough to last us for several years, but even if it doesn’t, it’s so reasonably priced that I’ll gladly purchase another one.

The pool made thru the first season but it did get a small hole in the air ring
The pool made it thru the first season with the 6 year old twins but it did get a small hole in the air ring .I used the provided patches and it never leaked again and it did not need to stay out of service but like 30 minutes. I do think the ring material should be thicker. The kids run and slide right over it when playing just real thin to thin I feel as it get a lot of abuse but it survived minus one hole that looks like someone caught something on the thin ring and it tore a hole, like I said to thin. Filter is a daily clean to keep it flowing it very weak but it works just a constant clean .Also critical it is on "LEVEL ground" the ring design of the pool demands it mine was but overflowed and by the time pulled the ring back in place the pool shifted that way and could not be filled to the max and by the end it was leaning petty good but it stayed up and I could have drained it and shifted it but its a lot of water so we ran with it and it made it.Its tough to get perfect when filling and first setting up you have to get the lower pool smooth and even, its tricky and definitely a two people job, But it is good size for all Grandpas included .

Small Filter!
I only paid $45 for this pool and it lasted for the summer but the filter was so small I had to change the filter like every other day! then the hose was leaking and then the wind came and blew the whole thing down TWICE! Well to be fair, we didnt do the best job at making it perfectly level or getting out every single wrinkle in the floor when first filling it up. But we made the best of it and for the price, I cant complain bc we had a pool for the summer and its all packed away for next year in the garage now bc we live in a snow climate, so hopefully it will still work next year. Dont rely much on the filter, we just purchased a vacuume to keep the pool clean and used the skmmer net and kept the chlorine levels where they should be. You cant do much jumping or diving in it or it might fall down. But just for floating around is fine. The reason I gave it less stars was bc of the itty bitty filter that does next to nothing! We bot replacement filters and the filters themself are only about 2 and a half inches! They are tiny and you really need a better filter on this pool. And we had to purchase the cover also. So if you dont mind refilling it when it blows down from the wind, then go for it.
