TorkliftF2011 Frame Mounted Front Tie Down

As a mechanic for 44yrs and running I can honestly say that these are one of the most well-engineered items I've ever had to install. The instructions are a tad cryptic but after reading them over and ducking under the truck it became clear what was to take place. I chose to add 6 1/2" nyloc jam nuts to insure nothing "changes" after the install. Most excellent ! ... on a 2000 F350 SuperCab 4x4 diesel dually automatic.

Purchased these for a 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty. Fits like they say the should and does a good job of securing our camper. Install is a little trickier for the front tie downs than it is for the rear, but remain calm and be patient - it's really not that hard!

This tie down works great, and it fits the truck perfectly, but there's one thing that could be improved. It comes with two holes in the removable section so you can mount it in a couple different positions. The problem is, the holes are too far apart, so one position sticks out a little more than I want and the other doesn't stick out quite enough. They should add at least one more hole between the existing ones.

The Torklift was well made and worked great. The bolt through the frame on the drivers side was tricky but be patient and follow their instructions to the T and you can do it. use the wire guide and come down from the top of the frame. Got the mount a day early from the supplier which was happily unexpected.

these bolted on perfectly to my 2003 f250 long bed, haul an 11'3 lance camper

Fit good, for work great.

A bit spendy but well built and strong. Well designed and easy to install. I had both sides done in about thirty minutes.Needed one minor adjustment to clearance the brake cable... Angle grinder, two minutes.
