If the head unit stays on after the engine has been turned off, keys removed, and all lights are off, it's likely that the accessory wire (yellow or orange) and/or battery/power wire (red) are connected incorrectly. Red to red, black to black, yellow to yellow, white w/ black stripe to white w/black stripe, etc. If you you look at the wires on the head unit harness and the vehicle specific harness (that you should have bought also; it's the connection between the car harness and the head unit harness) you'll see they are labeled. Example, red should read "battery," yellow should read "Accy" or "accessory," and so on. Good luck
