Love this toaster
Absolutely love this toaster. Works as intended, nice even heat, and looks the part too! You do have to keep checking your toast as with most toasters as they will burn. Easy to clean as well, has a nice crumb tray. Simple operation with lovely designed touch buttons and a slider for length of time to toast. You probably won’t really use the special modes but it’s cool nonetheless. Overall good value for money and makes great toast.

A solid toaster
It will take fairly big slices. As long as your bread isn't extra oversized, it will toast perfectly and evenly. It toasts fairly quickly too and the option to lift it up to check before done is very appreciated - much harder to burn toast now. It's very sturdy and feels like it will last - but time will tell.It looks really great too. I don't like how easy it is to get finger prints on brushed or polished steel but there is no denying how stylish this toaster is. , But finger prints are a fairly minor quibble - if polished steel is your thing, you'll love it.There's toasters for half this price but probably not as sturdy and certainly not as stylish. I think it's well worth what I paid. Best toaster I've had in a while.

No more steamy windows!
I bought this kettle specifically for the low steam feature and it definitely hits the mark. It switches itself off as it hits the boil, rather than having that long unnecessary rolling boil that my previous kettle (Asda rapid boil) had. I used to manually switch my kettle off previously so no longer need to do that. There is definitely much less steam and I assume more energy efficient, as without the rolling boil the kettle is slightly quicker than my previous one.It is a sleek, slim kettle with a relatively small footprint, doesn't take up a lot of room on my kitchen side. It's smart looking and it's also nice and quiet. It doesn't have a minimum water line which is a bit odd. Not an issue if you usually boil for more than one person / cup.The switch is also not a standard switch as you usually press the switch down on a kettle and it stays down until it boils. This one is more like a button in switch form (if that makes sense). Bit hard to get used to and the illumination is very difficult to see in daylight hours, so sometimes you don't realise you haven't switched it on. But as I get used to the switch I'm sure this won't be an issue moving forward. The top comes off fully but does so relatively easily. I do prefer a flip top lid, but again, I'll get used to it.I think the only sticking point is the price. I bought via Amazon warehouse (excellent condition, no issues) but was still, IMO, pricey. That's why I'm awarding it 4 stars. I don't understand why it warrants the full price £75 price tag. Unless it does cost less in energy perhaps, then maybe it's worth it in the long run. Get a warehouse deal or sale price if you can. Will sting a little less lol.I'm still very happy with it and would recommend it, especially if you're looking for less steam.

Brilliant toaster, great value
I was prepared to spend much more on a toaster that I really liked, but this was the one for me, at a stupidly low price. The handle to lift the toast and see if it’s done without having to start all over again is so simple and effective, I don’t know why all toasters don’t have it. It’s got good wide slots and I’ve even warmed up scones in it, after cutting them in half. It also has a nice wide flat top. It has a reheating option, but you obviously can’t use that once you’ve put something on the toast. However, I find that if I’ve put butter, avocado etc. on the toast and it’s gone a bit cold, I can lay the two slices on top of the toaster and put it on toast for a short time, and the heat coming up out of the slots warms up the toast and whatever is on it. Brilliant!

Love it!
I never thought I could actually love a toaster lol!Toasts to perfection. No more cutting off edges like before, a slice will fit completely, love the fact you can lift the lever to check on the toast. It's wide and deep so toasts buns, crumpets, waffles etc too.

Beautiful design, Low steam, quiet , fast
The media could not be loaded. It's early days, had this a week, but excellent so far , here's why;The LOW STEAM , it does certainly have low steam, virtually none at all. See the video clip! Excellent if your kettle is under or near cupboard units. Kettle is not heavy. Great shaped handle, comfortable in hand, well balanced, very quiet. Fast to boil,Was approx 3 mins when at full capacity, of 8 cups max, but super quick just doing 2 cups worth.Lid, no problems lifting off, handle is good shape. (is pull up lid). Handle does not get hot, only warm, is plastic.Spout excellent to pour from, kettle has removable spout filter, base is very streamlined, thinner than my last plastic kettle, the flex is fairly long, 75cm. Approximately.Possible drawbacks - no LED light on the switch, so you can only tell it's on from the boiling sound & the white light inside the kettle. You can see bubbles through side when it is boiling & lit.The number of cups on side of the window is written fairly small in black, this could be an issue if need to check & maybe didn't have great sight.Rather pricey.Does show marks on the brushed steel, but was fine wiped over with damp cloth. No keep warm options, no variable temp. Options. Conclusion - Beautiful to look at, feels great to use, quiet & has barely any steam.More expensive than any kettle I have purchased before, but it seems of excellent quality, & no pouring issues. It doesn't have any extra, fancy features, or coloured lights, but it does do the less steam due to changes they've made to the element part inside.I just hope it lasts ! I'm unsure what warranty it has, I've mailed them to ask .UPDATE - Breville said, (20.09.23) the standard Warranty period is 12 months. From purchase date. Any issues, within that time to be dealt with through the seller. Though proof of the purchase/ invoice would be needed. They say , you Do Not have to REGISTER the kettle online.

Returned toaster
I returned the unit for a refund due to it being delivered with a foreign electrical plug attached. I’m not a qualified electrician and shouldn’t have to change an items power plug
