The device itself seems to work just fine. I had some annoying issues with the installation, as follows:1) The "whip" (supply cord) is really really short. There's no reason it couldn't be another 8-12" long. Because of this, I could not use the mounting location I had for my previous charger because the cord wasn't long enough to make it to the disconnect box. Very annoying.2) they don't include a waterproof nut for attaching to the disconnect box and it would be really nice if they had so I didn't have to go to the hardware store and find the right kind (easier said than done).3) the screws included to mount the cord hanger are HUGE. Like #14 x 2" long with equally huge anchors. I mean, it's like carry 10 lbs and there are 3 screws. It's overkill and I don't need those huge things going into my wall. Thanks but no thanks.The device seems to work fine. I haven't gotten too fancy with the settings, but it works and goes to higher amperage than my prior one, which is what I wanted.

Needed to exchange product due to malfunction.

Bought this directly from Primecom.tech at their website instead of Amazon. Spoke with them before buying to get some questions answered. They were very helpful in answering my questions and making a recommendation about which plug type to buy. Product was easy to install and pretty much works as promised. I like that it supports up to 50 amps. A lot of the other chargers out there are 40 amps or less. I bought this to use with a Ford Mustang Mach-e which can use up to 48 amps. My only complaints are that the manual could be better and that the J1772 connector is a little tight when I try to insert or remove it. I was hoping this might clear up as I plug/un-plug it over time but so far after a week or two it still remains tight. It does insert and come off but just with a little tugging. The J1772 connector that came with the MME's portable charger doesn't have this problem.
