Lovely little Monitor
This little monitor is fantastic, it is very simple, you just press one button and the screen lights up with your readings of your pulse and blood oxygen measurements. It comes with simple and clear instructions so it is easy to read. Batteries are included and it also has a lovely little pouch to keep your monitor safe and clean. You can also hang it round your neck. It is premium quality and the design is modern and compact, so you can travel with it and take it on holiday with you and its very discreet.I have an elderly mother so when I visit her I take my device with me and measure her oxygen and pulse levels and it gives her reassurance.

Great little gatdget
A little gadget you might find useful to have within your household. It gives you the oxigen saturation percentage and the pulse rate, I siffer from high blood pressure so it also helps me to find out when my pulse rate is a bit too high. It comes in a smart cardboard box and includes a fabric case and a landyard to put around your neck. Also includes 2 AAA batteries which is great. There is one only buttom so this is pretty easy to use, switch it on by pressing it, place your index finger in the devide and wait few seconds for the results, not pulse rate changes constantly. The ergonomic shape leaves room from improvement as sometimes you need to make sure your finger tip is actually touching the sensor so the result is accurate. Instructions are good and useful including some great tips on how to improve the results. I would recommend it if you are keen on keeping track of your health, speacillu if you are a sporty person or if you suffer from any related condition. its not cheap but still affordable.

Unreliable
Batteries supplied stopped working on the first day. Not a big problem in itself but I struggle to get it to work. Will not register every time. Some times have to leave it and go back after ten minutes. Might work first time or just blink. Other times will go into panic you’re nearly dead mode pulse of 30 bpm or less and oxygen saturation of less than 60%. Clearly as I’m writing this I’m not dead. Not sure if it’s faulty as even brand new batteries flashes up batteries low. Will try to contact supplier. Now on 2nd meter. As you can see from the pictures taken over a 30 second time frame this does not give reliable results. Getting my money back

Perfect for at home use
Perfect device for monitoring heart rate and O2 stats at home.I use a pulse oximeter at work as a medic, comparing these two devices together there is very little difference in terms of accuracy. Both devices read my pulse as the same and had my O2 stats within the same bracket.I like the warning sound for heart rate on this device as when working on patients it is nice to be able to hear this so I can get on with other jobs without continually having to check the readout to check what is happening. From reading the description of this product it is aimed at people who wish to measure their heart rate and O2 stats at home, I believe that this device would be perfect for that, it comes with a lanyard allowing you to wear it around your neck so that you can keep it with you and get measurements whenever you need them.

Better than hospital
Very easy to use - just turn on with a simple press of the only button, stick your finger in, and wait a few seconds. Heartrate (BPM) measurement looks good. The digits are easy to read. It beeped in alarm at one of my elderly relatives whose heartrate or BPM was dangerously low (promptly waking said relative from stupor). We intend to fasten it to elderly relatives and use it to remind them they need to keep breathing. If we could get the dog's paw or tail into it, we'd try that too.It comes with a little fabric pouch in case you need to carry it about like a swiss army knife, and a lanyard in case you need to carry it about like a compass. Both went in the bin here. Can't comment on SpO2 accuracy as I don't have a reference (hence only 4* there), but the numbers look about right. Also can't comment on the battery life either but it's still working after about two weeks.

Disappointing and slow
It seems very slow. It is not reliable and can be difficult to position it on a finger to pick up the blood signals which doesn't help. When positioned correctly, it takes anywhere from16 seconds to 40 seconds to get a reading. The result is probably correct as far as i can tell but given the difficulty of getting a reading in a reasonable amount of time i am really not sure. The battery level display does not work. It flashes up empty for a fraction of a second with new batteries and then is no longer visible. I have given up with this unit and gone for a more expensive device.

Peace of mind
I brought this for my daughter who has been in and out of hospital with chest problems, it dose work on a 3yr old aslong as they keep still which she is used to using one in hospital, I tested this out a few times after she had it done in hospital and I must say I'm rather pleased with it, its give me a slight reassurance for when shes at home (I'm never 100% reassured till shes better) overall it's great to have around the home for when needed I'm glad I got one.

Saved my health!
The product does look a bit cheap and plasticy...alas, it does what it says on the tin! I would never of known that I have a condition called Bradycardia without using this. That's when your resting heart rate is more often than not beating at a rate lower than 60 beats per minute. Normally causing problematic stations under 50/per min. Mine, when using this device, is a consistent 47!! A trip to the doctor's for me! It would be helpful if the accompanying information sheet explained what bradycardia is, and references to the fact that something is wrong if your heart is beating too slow ...alas, the unit will start beeping at you if your heart rate is below 50.
