Bought this after returning another one that was just useless! This is perfect easy to use just type in postcode and voila, good size screen clear picture, clear voice and instructions, def reccomend

have bought my 3rd GPS for my car, after all I need one to find the toilet in my 1 bedroom bungalow. I had a TOM TOM for 20 + years and it finally gave up the ghost, it was an expensive buy but so worth it. My 2nd foray into GPS land was a Garmin, it lasted 4 months. I have been ill and didn't need to have another for myself until now.....I bought TOM TOM and just know I won't regret it. Great made, quality item, easy to use, clear screen....large screen, not a lot of faffing about to upgrade, always found Tom Tom easy to utilise. I paid £119.00 for this new one, no sale, still think it's worth it. The new GPS stays quieter on the road, makes you know the left its telling you about is the next....no confusion. Very accurate, great speed watching gives you a nudge when your foot is heavy. So many improvements, so solid a system, shows quality lasts and is sometimes worth paying that little extra for, not that i think the price is steep. Lightweight plastic type composition is a helluva difference from my old one. I loves me my Tom Tom and won't change to a cheaper version, best GPS on the road and easy to store your places you go, loads of functions. GREAT piece of kit

Works well. Sucker attachment adhered well to windscreen glass but didn't like the dashboard plastics in our Espace, Fiesta or Abarth. Nice and loud. Screen quality was average but you shouldn't be looking at it too long anyway, so not a deal breaker. Did seem to want to send me on the most direct route regardless of country lane size, but that might be something that can be changed in the settings. Small unit size and very cheap too especially with European mapping.

Easy to set up and use

So l purchased another Tom Tom product as the old Tom Tom was pretty slow. Also wanted model where l can update via WiFi rather than through the computer which is a great feature.The 6 inch screen is much better to view.All in all great function and features.

My first Satnav and it’s been a great product for me.Good quality and robust and does exactly what I want it to do.Only slight gripe would be that the sucker attachment did break after a few months.Can’t fault the tech though !

Initially the voice instructions were okay but as soon as I changed the voice from a male to a female one the voice instructions abruptly stopped. (Imaging that when you’re driving on a busy motorway!) So, therefore I started searching for some help and was instructed to download and open the TomTom Go App on my iphone to get it sorted. Why? Why did I have to do this? I couldn't be bothered with this kind of “help” and declined. The following info really put me off as soon as I opened the App:It said:Your 7 days free trial.Start free trial, cancel anytime.1-week free trial.£79.99 per year.No commitment.Cancel at any time in Settings > Apple ID at least one day before each renewal date.Plan automatically renews until cancelled.I don’t like this kind of business.Furthermore: The update was a nightmare: Takes all day! And then it still takes days to get used to this SatNav.I never felt comfortable with it. I don’t find it user friendly. Tedious. Time consuming. Confusing. Slow reaction when using the touch buttons.Don't like it and don't trust it for a bit.I tried a TomTom before but returned that one too. So, I purchased this one hoping it would serve me a bit better but again began to dislike it from the start. Very disappointed. Reset and returned. Going back to a Garmin Satnav.

Perfect day bag to plan routes and good guidance with spoken instructions. Easy to set up and update without the need for a computer. Easy fix mount for the windscreen which grips the screen really well. Plan routes on mobile phone and send the info to the sat nav making journey set up a breeze.
