American Tack 71050 Neon Guide Lights

Great illumination for a bathroom in the middle of the night. Very much like the old neon nite lites.

They throw off 1 lumen, so it’s very very faint. For those concerned with blue light and general light pollution at night, but need something around the house for kids or guests, these are perfect.

I plugged then into several receptacles to indicate that power was available. Helps diagnose wiring.

These little lights are designed to provide just enough orange neon glow to mark space, give you a sense of direction and orientation at night, without over-illuminating a nighttime space. The color is warm and pleasant and doesn't seem to adversely affect night vision. I have a couple around my house for any middle-of-the-night roaming around I may do and they do the trick. Would like better build quality but they are adequate and lights like this are becoming harder to find. Many people fill their house & property LED lighting bright enough to do surgery by - if that's you then you may not like these very subtle little lights. But if you need little marker nightlights, these are great.

Gives off a perfect amount of light to guide me through the night without waking me up. It’s subtle enough it for use in the bedroom. I’ve read that the blue hue in a lot of nightlights may make it harder to fall asleep. This orange color seems perfect. It looks just like the neon nightlights we had decades ago.They’re so compact that I can imagine throwing one in a suitcase for use in a hotel room that are sometimes pitch black.

So dim as to be nearly unusable in most applications. I found a use so no sweat, but others may well be disappointed in the extremely dim output.

The light is the perfect brightness for night time when my eyes have adjusted to the darkness. The color is a great hue, which studies show is much better than irritating blue or green night lights.The build of the light is somewhat weak and feels like the shade part may come off if I am not careful pulling it out of the socket. Note: the lights look thin and flat in the picture, actually they are taller and smaller diameter.

These once popular guide lights have become difficult to find. The amount of illumination is perfect for that passageway or room needing just a touch of light. The glow isn't harsh, like so many LED devices tend to be, and is comfortable in sleeping areas. You'll likely want to lay in a supply of these little gems.
