maybe the size is not right for me.
I have heavy flows and the cup size was not enough, and at the same time very painful to insert as it is very stiff. And consider I am someone who has given birth twice.

Not recommended for first time cup users
This is actually my second menstrual cup, which works well for me but with a lot of concessions. I switched to this cup after purchasing the Saalt Cup, which is larger and firmer. The firmness of the saalt cup ended up giving me horrible menstrual cramps, on top of my already awful cramps, and I switched to the OrganiCup because it's advertised as a soft cup. It doesn't give me any discomfort or pain. The OrganiCup is indeed so soft that it doesn't pop open automatically when I insert it. I have to spend a minute touching and feeling the base and inserting it higher so that it can pop open. If you're not intimately familiar with your vagina and how a cup should be properly inserted/positioned, it may be difficult for you.The cup (I have the "A" size) is also smaller than my saalt cup, so if you have a heavier flow, it may not be the right cup for you either. Generally your blood flow per day will be less than you think compared to using a tampon or pad, but everyone's period is different and a heavier flow will definitely result in having to empty the cup frequently or leakage.

This is the best thing I've bought in my entire life
I used to use pads at first but at some point in my life I realized how uncomfortable this was, also I felt it was not a very hygienic method to use, so I switched to tampons. To be honest I love them, you can be free, no chafing; I do not have a heavy period so I rarely leaked. They were so comfortable, the ones I used were the ones with plastic applicator, which was not very ecofriendly. So I started looking for alternatives and ta-da! I found the most amazing product a woman can use during these days. It's my first cup ever, so I haven't tried other brands. I read around 200 reviews before buying this and as many of you girls out there, I was sceptical on how on earth I was going to put that thing in and then out. the first two days of my period were a bit difficult to put it in. Dude I sweat the first day inserting the cup, but now I'm a master.Do not think this one more second. Buy it. You'll be helping your pocket and the environment. You'll thank me later.PS this product definitely needs influencers to talk about it. Girls you need to spread the word

Game Changer
About 4 years ago I noticed menstrual cups in a health food store, and ever since then I have kept the thought in the back of my mind to try it but I didn't see the justification for $40 back then if I didn't even know if it would work for me. I have been watching a bunch of Femmehead Youtube videos and she has encouraged me to take the leap, which is how I found out about the OrganiCup brand. I did some more research about the cups and figured this brand and the price were the best fit for me, and I was not wrong with that thought. They say that it usually takes three cycles to get the hang of it, I had a great system down by day 2 of my period. Since I typically have a lighter period, I only changed my cup morning and night, and it worked great. This makes it so much easier for my job also, because I am constantly on the go or on the road in a truck, it fits my lifestyle needs greatly. This is soooo much better than a pad or tampon any day. When I first had my period I started with pads and those got old fast which is why I switched to tampons, which after a while were irritable and annoying. This cup is very comfortable to wear around, it made me feel like I didn't even have a period. Everyone who writes articles about any menstrual cup says they wished they started sooner and I completely understand that now. I used to think they were out of their minds because at the time I was not on board with the cup idea yet. This is brand is great, the packaging is great, has directions on the box along with helpful links. The cup came with a little canvas bag to place the cup in. I honestly am so thankful I found this cup in particular because I love it so much.

First Cycle Complete
I just finished my first cycle with my Organicup (which it's worth noting is my first menstrual cup ever).I was prepared for the learning curve that comes along with menstrual cups, so here are my pros and cons after my first full period using the cup:PROS:-Pops open easily, required minimal fiddling to open up.-When it got it inserted correctly it did not leak, and even when I bungled the insertion, it leaked very little.-Eco friendly: the only plastic that Organicup uses for packaging is one small sticker to hold the box closed.-Easy to remove: I found that the suction broke cleanly and I only had one issue with spillage the first time I removed it (blessedly in my bathtub because I'm clumsy and figured better safe than blood on my bathroom rug).-Cleans up easily, I didn't find that it was difficult to clean any of the nooks and crannies.Cons:-I found the grip rings to be a bit intense. If the cup shifted at all, they felt a bit stabby.-I am not a previous tampon user (pads only before now), so I'm finding that the pressure from the cup is a little weird to get used to. It's not painful, but I'm definitely aware of it. I'm going to give it at least one more cycle and if the pressure is still uncomfortable I may switch to the Mini size. All said and done I'm definitely planning on giving this cup a second try next month. I know the learning curve with menstrual cups can be a bit steep, so I'm prepared to keep learning.Updated 10/22/2019:After spending a few more cycles in the Menstrual Cup Club, I'm much more comfortable using my Organicup. The grip rings are a bit much if you are prone to sensitivity, but you can always cut the stem off once you’re comfortable with removing the cup. I feel totally comfortable recommending Organicup to anybody who is interested in making the switch to reusable menstrual products.

First time user ...
First time user as of one day ago. It's really hard to make a decision on the size because if you're like me and read many reviews, plenty of women picked the small cup even though they were over 35 and gave birth and it worked great for them. I am 37, never had a child, 5 foot 6 and around 150 lbs. just to give you an idea, and a healthy individual. The bigger one looked like it would hurt so I went with the small one. I did not find it difficult to insert it the correct way after about two tries. I apologize if TMI ...Day 1, worked great! No leaks and lasted well over 8 hours. Now day 2 (my heaviest) I had to empty three times in an 8 hour work day. Glad I wore a light pad. It is comfortable for me and I did not have to trim it. I did not notice a decrease in cramps, still the same for me. I would really like to try the bigger one but not sure I want to shell out almost $30 to find out it is indeed to big and uncomfortable. I will use the one I have for "light" days and for working out. I was really hoping to go pad free, but guess I can only do it on light days. I work in a prison and it's not really the place I want to worry about emptying and washing 3-4 times in an 8 hr day. Hope this helps someone, good luck.
