Routledge Group and Team Coaching: The secret life of groups

Overuse of quotations
An ‘effort’. I could not make it beyond page 82. Unfortunately, the book came to me as a recommendation from a colleague who I can no longer hold in the same high esteem. Not for readers with a background in psychology. Utterly simplistic interpretations of common psychological concepts (transference, projections, etc) are treated with an alarming measure of preciousness. The overuse of quotations is ‘the icing on the cake’. I find the authors ideas about group work questionable. I would not trust the author to work with anyone I cared about.
