Artaste 56440 Rain 18/10 Stainless Steel 47-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 8

I would not normally buy silverware online. I have to feel the heft, see how big the forks are, check out the depth of the spoons, and see how it feels in hand generally. But I went ahead and bought these and I like them a ton! It has good balance and weight--I'm not weight lifting nor am I accidentally throwing it across the room when gesticulating wildly and with enthusiasm while eating. The big forks are not too big, shallow, or deep. The butter knives seem to do pretty well cutting meat. The spoons could use a smidge more depth but they have an otherwise great shape, a little more like an egg than oval. I didn't notice that these don't have a brushed finish which I would have preferred. These do show fingerprints but it's not a deal breaker. Nice set!

I have purchased several different flatware sets over the years, and once the product arrives, I am normally disappointed in the quality versus the advertising. Not with Artaste. If you are looking for true stainless steel with the weight of luxury flatware, Artaste is the one. I absolutely love it! The classic design is suitable for both daily use and formal. I love the fact that I can purchase extra pieces as needed, as I am always running out of forks or spoons. I've now got an entire set of beautiful stainless steel, and if ever i lose a piece, I don't have to purchase another full set! On top of that, Artaste offers the specialty pieces, like demi-tasse spoons, grapefruit spoons, and sundae spoons! Their product is truly a step above the rest!

Nice look and feel in the hand... but these are indeed very large. The teaspoons are tablespoon sized. And the tablespoons are serving pieces sized. A set will not fit comfortably in standard silverware trays. Overall, I like the feel and look. But they are very heavy for the silverware drawer. I wish they were a bit smaller.Updated 7/2020: we have had these for a while now. They have held up very well. They aren’t all scratched up even with constant use, which is a pleasant surprise. The one drawback is that without a real pattern on the flatware, they show water spots easily when you have hard water. I have found that if we are going to have company over, I will put all my silverware in a large bowl, then add hot water and a cup of vinegar. I pull each piece out and blot it dry and rerun it to my silverware drawer. All nice and pretty with no spots :).

Very heavy duty, one small issue is that the base is so wide they don't fit in the slots in the dishwasher silverware holder.

I LOVE everything about this flatware - reasonable price, quality, can be used everyday or for special occasions, nice weight (balanced). No need to spend hundreds of dollars for flatware. This is beautiful.

Absolutely LOVE the design--and the hostess set is totally spectacular! I was hesitant to order online because I wanted to feel the weight, but I am impressed! The only thing I wanted to add to the set is cocktail forks, but I can't find them with this set or any other--without going sterling. Note that I haven't had the set long enough to comment on stains or water spots, but my first impression is loving everything about it. (And I am super hard to please when it comes to anything to do with cutlery, flatware, or china. It's a British thing.) Super pleased and consider the value very good for the price.

I love flatware it is beautiful, sturdy and it has a little weight to it. I look forward to ordering more. I would like to know if you have tea spoons and soup spoons. And yes it would make a great wedding gift. I am very pleased.

I ordered this stainless set as the 18/10 rating of the set was supposed to be of high quality better than 18/0. One week into using the utensils, the silver is pitting and rusting. Very disappointing.
