Johnson Level & Tool 595 Structo-Cast Line, 3", 2 Level

Just what I was looking for.

He's came packaged well with two options for the level. They're easily able to be read and the build quality is amazing for the price point. I have an older one and they have made some major upgrades since then. I checked with one of my levels and one of these and they were spot on.

These are pretty good line levels. You know, probably use them once, twice, times and that's that. They're cheap enough you can replace them. I found that the line loops are a little weak, but also they were being left out in the sun and we all know that sun degrades plastics, so that's partially my fault.

I own one of these, can't find it. The one that is black ends. Wonderful take for example completing the first row of concrete blocks to stack more on top. I have a four foot level. Way too big for this project. I get to see by the bubble between the two lines is the block level left to right and front to back. I have not used the other one. Multi-pitch. What I can report with honest, in Home Depot an identical product, both levels cost more than a dollar. This is less with free shipping. Highest quality lowest price.

Yhese line levels are very well made and accurate

These are great little levels. I hammock camp and I use the black level to make sure my tarp's ridgeline is level and I use the white level to make sure my foot end of my hammock is up higher than the head end. If you put the levels side by side on a level surface, the black one will have the bubble in the center like a normal level. The white one's vial is conical, so one end of it is where the bubble sits on a level surface. The reason for this is the level is meant to measure the slope, and it's easier to read with the lines 1/8th of an inch apart instead of way less. So it is designed to be like that, don't assume it is broken or doesn't work, because it was intentional for it to work like that, and it makes perfect sense as to why it was designed like that.

It is very necessary in the work

This is an excellent set of line levels that are quite accurate. The Multi-Pitch® vial can be used almost anywhere an accurate comparison of the height between two points is needed. It worked great when I adjusted the blade front-to-rear pitch on my riding lawn mower. For my use, I made a small guide as seen in the included picture. Note: In the below calculation, 22.6875" (22-11/16") is the length of the blade.

Arrived fast. Works perfectly.

Handy little tools, but the slope level (the grey one) isn't intuitive... as in, do I need the near edge of the bubble on the incline marker, or the full bubble? Or maybe just the middle of the bubble? For the record, the bubble should just barely be touching it. You can use the black one next to it to see how it reads level to remind yourself. There are no instructions online, so if you toss the packaging, you're SOL.

I bought it to ensure my backyard had a decent slope to drain rain during a regarding. It worked exactly as I expected.
