The Standard Gage 07734001 vernier scribing height gauge has a measurement range of 0” - 12”/0 - 300 mm, and is graduated to 0.001”/0.02 mm. Graduations on the right scale are in standard inch units, while graduations on the left scale are in metric units. The scriber, used to mark a position on a workpiece, is 13 mm x 70 mm (H x W), and is carbide-tipped for hardness and to help prolong life. The slider and beam are made of stainless steel. The scales and vernier backgrounds have a glare-free satin chrome finish that helps resist rust. The unit comes with a protective case and inspection report.
