I purchased for myself, but this would also make a very nice gift. Love the lemon decor! It arrives in a nice Heart & Berry decorated box. (I must repurpose!) The metal recipe box itself is sturdy and well-made. There is a cheaper model, but I believe this one is sturdier and the hinge better. The 12 dividers are very nicely decorated and double-sided: Appetizers, Breakfast, Breads & Pasta, Cakes, Casserole, Drinks, Desserts, Main, Soups, Side, Seafood, Salads. It does include 24 recipe cards, which are not nearly enough; they simply fall over. However, I had purchased some 500 4 x 6-inch index cards two years ago - so I have just popped those in to take up space, about 200 of them. I like to be able to maneuver through, so as I add recipes, I will take out the blank cards.Note: The included recipe cards are much thicker than regular index cards, but anything 4 x 6 will work in the box. The dividers stick up perfectly over the cards - about 3/8" - with another 1/4" to spare before the top of the box.This replaces a (very) old plastic recipe box completely stuffed with recipes; wish I had done this years ago! Now the fun of transferring my recipes out of the old box and organizing them into the new begins!!! Looking forward -

This box would be better if it had a way to hold the dividers up. The deciders and cards just fall forward and can’t stand up straight

Looking to ditch the cookbooks as they all take up too much space in my kitchen. This box is perfect and looks great in my kitchen. This will hold so many recipes! The dividers help me keep them organized. These will be handy for my son too, as he learns to cook (or my husband when I need him to cook haha!). Super durable. Love this! This would make a great gift as well. My only complaint is that it did not come with a lot of recipe cards, but you can buy note cards at most big box stores easily.

I gave this as a gift to my eleven year old granddaughter and she loved it! We are going to use it to copy and preserve our favorite family recipes so she can share them with her children some day.

Even nicer in person. Would make a lovely gift for an older person to write down her recipes.

This is the perfect illustration of form over function - super cute box but it’s too deep i then take out all the cards to find the one that I need.Having a small latch would help to assure that the lid won’t open when picking upI’ll have to spend some time reconfiguring it to my needs.Unfortunately I would not buy this again

Love this recipe box. Used it at my sisters bridal shower for guests to bring a recipe to share with the bride to be & then gave it to her as a gift. Beautiful design, well made and not too pricy. Found the matching Heart & Berry recipe cards on Amazon as well to ensure I had enough matching cards... no issues with either purchase and both came in a very timely manner.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter for her first apartment and filled it with family recipes . She loved it.

The media could not be loaded.  This is an adorable recipe box, however it’s much bigger than I expected. I also got one in each colour for the women in my family for Mother’s Day. All are beautiful. The cards don’t really stand up like my old faithful. I actually ended up turning the little label, and it is now used to organize my seeds for planting. My mum ended up doing the same thing once she saw it. The cards fit in my older, smaller recipe box so they will still be used.
