Quite the cajon! Travel-sized rhythm that doesn't annoy my wife as much!
As a percussionist I tap on crap constantly - This naturally annoys the hell out of my wife so I break this bad boy out to get my tap on and her reaction is slightly better than usual so it gets 5 stars! Love the snare action and the weight. The one I ordered doesn't have the hooks attached to the cajon itself but I slapped some on the corners using a peeln'stick majiggy and it works like a churm.For ships and giggles I threw a small clip mic inside it connected to a small amp and it sounds great! I do this in a sound proof(ish) room and I've heard no complaints.Works great for serenading your spouse by a campfire on a tropical beach! I mean I wouldn't know but I could see it working for others out there idk. Good luck y'all!

Pretty but not super quality
Quality appears good but the sound is not as rich as I was hoping for. Son really hasn't used it as much as I thought he would. It is beautifully made.

Beautiful quality sound
Since it is a small cajón its volume isn't so loud. Besides that, it has a lot of benefits. Great quality sound for its size. Sensibility, you can either play with your fingers or with your whole hand. Also, it has many different sounds depending on which part of the cajon you play. But what i like the most is the practicity to take it anywhere. Since the cajon is the instrument I play the most, i don't like when i can't carry the big cajón with me for being too big. That problem is already solved with this purchase. Highly recommended for beginners and not so beginners.

Quality and fun!
One of my adult children is a percussionist and has two little boys who are showing some interest in drumming. I purchased this so my grandsons could learn basic rhythms without having a whole drum set in the house. The parent can hold the instrument while playing and allow the boys to stand opposite and repeat the rhythms. They love it! It would also be good for small jam sessions.

Tough to review
This is a beautifully made instrument. Lovely to look at. But I could not get the "strings" or snares to produce any effect. The instructions were MIA. So, I returned it.

I purchased for my daughter because she is a percussionist and thought this would be good to add to collection. The sound is good and it is good for her to take from place to place
