Very tight grip; so make sure what you're hanging isn't plastic

I bought these to hold up stringed lights for my outside patio. Man, these things work wonders ALL OVER THE HOUSE. I use them in place of nails, hooks, or adhesive. They're strong, and extremely easy to use. I used them to hold up Christmas decorations in addition to hanging items around the house. I was finally able to use them for what I actually bought them for, and they are the best. I recommend these to anyone who's tired of having adhesive or nail marks on their wall. You won't need nails, hooks or adhesive if you use these.

These were used for hanging Christmas lights to outside gutters. They did take in two snows and couple of pretty bad rain during the time they were outside. Looks like the clips do vary quite a bit in quality. Out of the 15 odd clips I had used 4 of them showed signed of rust, with one of them showing major rust inside. Rest of the clips showed very little or no signs of rust at all. Considering the low price of these clips and that it served the intended purpose, I would still say it is a good buy. But if you are looking for something that will stay guaranteed rust free even after being exposed to the elements, look elsewhere.

Love these! handy for all kinds of things

I love these clips. But, if used outside, they can rust. (A clear spray paint can solve that problem)I used them to hold up string lights on to my porch awning. The only problem is that the clips do rust. I plan on spray painting they clear before I use the rest of them.

I saw these used on a home decorating show and decided to try for myself. I used them for curtain hangers to hang some cute dinner napkins as curtains on a small utility room window. Used the napkins on both sides, so it is pretty from the room and looking in the window from outside. Clips went on easily and are working great.
