This may be a little fancier than you want to wear out to lunch or somewhere informal. It is pretty flashy. I like it. The description said it was 10mm, 00 gauge. It really is closer to 9.5mm, which is fine by me, but if you're picky about exact size it isn't 10mm

Many years ago I was into piercings but ended up having to take them all out because of multiple sequential surgeries that just made it almost unbearable to go through the "in and out" process for 15 piercings.I have though, missed my piercings and thanks to a 00g Prince Albert, still had the hole open and thought that I would put one back in that is easily removed if needs arose - obviously, after years of not having them in it had shrunk in size but I thought I would start with a 10g and perhaps work back to a 4g or somewhere in there.I was delighted to find this captive bead ring in 10g, that specifically says "PA" and is such a unique design (I like "different" jewelry). It came in today and I was quite excited to receive it and quickly opened it to inspect.What a disappointment! I don't know who decided that this would be appropriate for a PA, but I would be the first to point and laugh and call them "little man!" You would have to be a 2 year old for this thing to work as a PA as the diameter is SOOOO small that you can't even get it inserted as to where a normal PA piercing is. I must be "Blessed" (with a BIG capital "D") but still... this is ridiculous to think it could be used for it's advertised purpose.Returning immediately - see the picture and decide for yourself.. pic is with a standard #1 paperclip, a quarter, nickle and penny on a 1" grid. Do YOU think *anyone* could use this as a PA!?

these should be sold as a set, not individually. the lack of color options is also a downside to these earrings. The small rings that hang from the main section are easily bent as well so you do need to be careful when not wearing them
