Can anyone confirm these are genuine knipex made in germany or knockoffs?

What is the stripping range? will it strip 14, 12, and 10 awg copper wire, both stranded and solid?

It will strip 14, 12, and 10. The 10 feels a little harsh on the tool so I do it in 2 chomps, turning the wire some to get the side of jacketing stripped. I work with stranded so I assume solid is just the same.

What is the red tab at the top with moves to either plus or minus?

The red tab that slide is for your length of how far you want to strip the wire?

why so cheap there are no instructions and no complete video?

These wire strippers are a bargain but cut and strip wires precisely and easily. Handles are plastic, rather than metal, which probably accounts for the price. If you have ever used wire strippers you won’t need a video or instructions to figure it out. Made in Germany, by the way…,

Best Wire Stripper I have Used

Works better than expected - and my expectations were high given the cost. Works well with 24-18 gauge electronics wire. I was also pleasantly surprised to see it work flawlessly with 12-14 gauge residential Romex NMD-90 wiring. I now have a dozen obsolete wires strippers sitting in drawers.
