Best helmet I've used so far at a great price and the true color sensor gives you a crystal clear view of the weld with no eye strain or flash. The auto darkening has a quick response time and is fully adjustable.

Its a little cheap in construction with the dials a little hit and miss. I was originally going to send back however was instructed that I would only recieve a portion of my money back - so its a back up. Went elsewhere for a better product

I just started welding and one of the issues I had in the beginning was the brightness that you are not supposed to look at. Lacking a helmet, I had to close my eyes which made it really hard to get a decent weld (its hard enough if you have a good helmet...). But this helmet isn't all that expensive and it works great so, I still can't weld very well but its not because I'm closing my eyes.

What I like about this helmet is the crystal clear viewing lense/window and that it is large. Also, the view before the weld strike is very good (realistic and clear). A couple of not so good things is that a) the head adjustment band for tightening or loosening seems to slip at the adjustment knob which means it is not tightening up enough and b) the side friction knobs for the helmet up/down positions are not great. Again they aren’t very robust.

I have been looking for a new welding helmet for work because I am a welder this is very light weight and durable very comfortable in my head I like that it’s Crystal clear view would be a great gift great price
