amazing what 2 slits can do for the job. I have one without the slits that I hated using and upon seeing this and buying it, I always seems to laugh when using it.just makes it so much easier, it doesnt annoy the heck out of me hahahaget it!

Different sanding block
It is ‘okay’. I was hoping for better. Not much different than the other hard rubber type. I was hoping the ‘hinges’ would make loading a little easier, but not really. Still a pretty firm resistance on loading the paper. Similar enough to the other hard rubber types. Now that the price came down from the original pricing, comparable to the other rubber blocks, it was worth trying one. I’ve been using one hard rubber block going on 40 years and it is starting to deteriorate so I’m looking for replacements. I wonder if this one will last 40 years.

Great sanding block
Seems to be a great sanding block. Have yet to put it though its paces. Will re-post if opinion changes.

Best sanding block
Good sanding block, no issues with it. I love the fact it has spikes to hold the sandpaper in place.

Very firm
Thin firm rubber backing on a hard plastic holder limits its usefulness over solid rubber types but ok on large flat areas but doesn’t do well on contours
