I didn’t expect to wax poetic about a jump rope, but I really like this one. The handles are really nice, metal, sleek, nicely machined. The cord is a bit thin but it has a wire cable inside so it holds its shape well when jumping. But the killer feature is that you can easily adjust the cord length by pressing down on the fittings in the handles and then sliding the cord in and out. This is super-handy if sometimes you jump barefoot and sometimes in sneakers, since you will want the cord a bit longer when jumping in footwear.The set also comes with a spare cord, it’s a different color but it seems the same gauge as the other one so I think it’s just for use as a replacement. Some weighted ropes can hurt smacking into your toes over time if you jump barefoot, but this cord is the right mix of weight and size, and I haven’t had this problem. The handles are big enough to get a good grip but not overly chunky, so they won’t take up too much space in a gym bag or suitcase if you travel with them. This is hands-down the best jumprope I have ever had. Very happy!
