Solar panel
Good panel which I’ve had over 2 seasons now. Consistently charges even though not ideally situated. Mine came with a slight flaw on one if the cells which doesn’t seem to effect the performance. Is this make better than others? I can’t possibly say but this one is working fine.

This was a great choice for fitting out my Camper conversion
I recently incorporated the Renogy 175W Solar Panel into my off-grid setup, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. The monocrystalline technology delivers excellent efficiency, maximizing energy conversion even in less than optimal sunlight conditions. The robust build quality instills confidence in its durability, and the tempered glass construction ensures resilience against the elements. Installation was straightforward, and the provided pre-drilled holes made mounting a breeze. The compact size of the panel, combined with its efficiency, allows for flexible placement options in various settings, from RVs to remote cabins. The 12V compatibility seamlessly integrates with my existing solar system, and the panel consistently produces a reliable and steady output. I appreciate the attention to detail, including the diode pre-installed in the junction box, preventing reverse current flow and safeguarding the overall system. Renogy's commitment to quality is evident, and the panel's ability to withstand diverse weather conditions, from rain to extreme temperatures, adds to its appeal for long-term usage. While the panel doesn't come with additional accessories like a charge controller (which is recommended for optimal performance), it provides a solid foundation for those looking to expand their solar setup. In conclusion, the Renogy 175W Solar Panel is a dependable choice for anyone seeking efficient and durable solar power solutions. Its performance, ease of installation, and compatibility make it a valuable addition to any off-grid or renewable energy system.

Efficient 175W panel, well-packaged, durable, accurate specs, great performance even in low light
I am extremely happy with my purchase of this 175W solar panel. Right from the unboxing, I was impressed with the careful packaging, ensuring that the panel arrived in perfect condition with no damage. The dimensions were exactly as described, and the specifications were clearly labeled, making installation straightforward. The build quality is excellent, with a sturdy frame and durable glass that feels built to last. It performs efficiently, even on slightly cloudy days, delivering reliable power output as expected. I’ve been using it for my off-grid setup, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and reliability. Overall, this is a great investment for anyone looking for a high-quality solar panel. I would definitely recommend it to others and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another one in the future.

Another great product from Renogy!!
I’ve got one of these installed on my roof of my campervan. And was easy to install and is really good build quality. I’ve got it coupled up with the Renogy 50Amp dc to dc charger and it works great. I’ve got room for another one so I will be buying one in the near future.

Good but feel let down
Got my first Renogy 175W panel a month ago on Prime deal, works great, appear good quality sturdy. Ordered a second one last week, feel a bit disappointed. First, one of the connector was broken out of the box. The outer housing plastic was snapped, but the crimped terminal was still in place. I have a spare connector in my toolbox so instead returning the panel I decided to quick try to see if the terminal will latch into a new connector housing and it worked so the terminal was good just snapped outer housing, hope Amazon/Renogy will compensate me for the spare connector. Anyway, once I started mounting to my shed roof, which I had planned to have four in the total on this side of the roof, I immediately noticed my pre-drilled mount holes was in the wrong place compare to the first panel I installed a month ago. Quickly placing the new panel side by side to the first panel, immediately notices the two panels are just different in their physical dimensions also the PV cells layout. Very surprise and felt a bit let down, thought may be I ordered or received a wrong panel. Checked my order, Amazon said I have order this same panel twice so my order is correct. Check the label at the back of the panel, it is indeed the correct model I order. However the spec not only voltage/amps but including the dimensions are all different to the first panel I ordered and online description! Apart from the appearance it all seems to work. I wouldn’t say the marginal differences operating voltage and current would make much difference in my setup with 4 panels so far in total 2 series 2 parallels, 2 panels are different brand at slight different location than shed roof. I was planning to have another 2 panels to make in total 4 on this shed roof alone and they would look the same. Now seems this Renogy panel looks and spec different even for the same model, I’m not sure what to expect if I buy another two. I really hate that this broke the consistency I had planned at the beginning. My mistake not purchasing all 4 panels I had plan in one go. Now not sure if I should take them off and return them, or just keep them because to be fair electricial wise they do work.
