Long assembly
The media could not be loaded. My 1 and 1/2 year old loves this tractor. We got it for his Christmas present this year. The tractor itself is wonderful. I love that it automatically brakes as soon as he lifts his foot off the pedal. He did take a few times to learn how to drive it, but now he's a pro. The only bad thing was how long it took to assemble and how long you have to charge it before your first ride. It took my husband 4 hours to put it together, stickers and all. The instructions were very complicated and seemingly out of order. My husband had to go back several times and undo what he had just done in order to complete "the next step". You also have to charge it for 18 hours minimum before the first ride or else you void your warranty. Overall, my son loves it and we do too.

Worth every penny.
Is what it is. Thick plastic toy rider for little toddlers. Our two year old loved it immediately.Box arrived 4 days earlier than scheduled.Extremely easy to assemble. There’s only 4 bolts, two slightly shorter than the other two. Mix them up and yeah you’ll have issues, so don't mix them up. Longer ones go to the bucket, easy.To all those who say it is difficult to access the battery… I’d strongly disagree… the handle bar pulls to release the rear hinge locking of the dump bucket… and if you just leave the screw off for the hood, it only takes a few seconds to pop it off.. it has deep retaining flaps, its not gona pop off without that one screw…Easy… extremely easy….However…. If one really really did not want to deal with the hood… get yourself a on/off switch and an recepticle… wire it in, cut a hole and mount it up wherever you prefer… tada no need to pop the hood…. But yeah… it’ll cost you a whole whopping nother 10$…Anyway… extremely happy over all. Perfect for our little guy and had no issues chuggin through our unmowed 8” tall grass even with it only being powered by one rear wheel. The value here is the plastic.. not the electronics. If one wanted, it would be too easy to replace the electrical guts, but in my opinion, it is perfect as is. If battery life becomes an issue, it will be extremely easy to add more capacity. If power struggles as he gets bigger, ill just add a motor to the other wheel… thing is a shell, and worth it for the shell alone.

Great for kids, not for farmers!
I bought this as a temporary replacement while my other John Deere tractor was being serviced. The product arrived promptly and as seen in the picture. I was shocked at how much smaller it was than my other John Deere. It also appears to be made out of plastic, even the wheels which surprised me! I searched everywhere for the gas cap so I could fill her wiry diesel but found out this is one of them new fangled electric vehicles. After charging it overnight in my kitchen, I awoke the next morning and put it to work. I quickly found out the battery and the motor were not strong enough to push me around and I could barely fit in the seat. Seeing that this would not be able to help me with moving all of the hay bails I still need moved, I have the tractor to my 2 year old son who loves it. It charges fairly quickly and allows him to cruise around our yard for a little over an hour. It's very simple to use with just one pedal and a steering wheel. It looks very similar to a real John Deere and does great going up and down hills. You won't be dissapointed with this product unless you plan to use it for actual farming.

Good for a 2 year old
I thought my (just turned 2) grandson would love it but he was still a little afraid of it. I am glad he is not a dare devil. A few weeks later he is much more comfortable but almost crashed. So my bottom line is, I almost got the bigger version but am glad I did not. At just two years this is good enough and fairly safe. Not too bad to build (easy for me to say my husband did it). People who think there is no battery maybe did not look under the hood. You can keep the battery in the car to charge if you can reach a plug. His uncle got him the cart that attaches behind and the parts did not work well.

John Deere Mini Power Loader
This was an absolutely great purchase for us. Our grandson will be two in a few months, and he loves tractors. He sees his dad and uncles driving them and gets to ride in them once in awhile. But this gift was perfect for him to drive on his own. He's good for his size, and the tractor is a perfect size for him at not quite two-years old yet. It took him a bit to figure out how to make it go and how to dump the loader bucket, but once he got going, he never wants to stop. The battery isn't huge, so we have to charge it almost every time he rides it, but he's on it for quite a while each time, so it's never bothered us. You will have to apply the stickers (logo, "control panel", etc) on your own.
