theBalmAnne T. Dote Tinted Moisturizer- Light (#14)

I was a committed customer of Balm Shelter tinted moisturizer for years and like other reviewers here, was disappointed when that product line was discontinued. I don’t like Anne T. Dote as a replacement. One thing I wanted to mention that wasn’t clear to me when I bought it is that, while Balm Shelter contained sunscreen, Anne T. Dote does NOT. I couldn’t figure out why my melasma was so much worse this summer until I came back here to re-read the product description. Wish I knew what to buy that would be more similar to Balm Shelter!

I was given a small sample of this from my sister-in-law and I loved it. It covers everything, but looks natural and it hydrates at the same time. You will, however, have to add a sunscreen.

I tried this makeup in the smaller sample size (through ipsy). Since I really liked them product, I searched for the best deal to restock. Unfortunately, the cap on this larger size bottle does not keep air from tainting the makeup, giving it that awful orange tint almost immediately after opening. Would not recommend this product in this size.

Correct color but I ordered it in a compact so I could carry it in my purse. I got the liquid in a tube. I do love this stuff. It works great for me but I am disappointed that I didn't get the compact that is pictured.

As a bartender I sweat while working at times. This balm literally ran down my face, it was embarrassing.Not very expensive but for the price I expected better results. The Wet & Wild tinted moisturizer did a better job than this did at a fraction of the price.I wish I’d sent it back.
