It takes ink and wash well. Ite very similar to handbook travelogue (I actually like that one better but it's about 5 dollars more)It doesnt take loads of water like the travelogue..it will get all splotchy if you use too much but fir a throw around daily sketchbook, it's fine. I'd prob give it 4.5 stars if that was an option. Would I buy it again? If I was strapped for cash, sure. However, I do love the travelogue sketchbook so I'd prob go with it otherwise (not the watercolor one.. that one sucks and you cant layer in it.This is good enough to throw down some sketches though without feeling bad about wasting paper or to just ideas out or if you want to write on some pages, it doesnt feel like sacrilege. For those reasons, I'd buy this one.

I really love the 4” square Talens art creations sketchbooks and have used them exclusively for the past couple years. I use tombow brush pens, neocolor pastels and caran d’ache luminance pencils - all do very well with the paper. Paper has a slight tint (it’s not bright white but an off-white), which works well for me. Typically get these under $10 which seems like a great bargain. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

great price lotta pages paper takes wet and dry mediums very well , price is great . comparable to a moleskin but with more paper , paper is slightly better for something's and not quite as good for others .for my pencil fountain pen and posca , i have used and theres no issues ill be buying them as long as they stay the same withis this good price .

I bought a couple small ones of these. Nice to throw in a badly for sketching.I am using one to journal and ongoing project I am working on.

This little sketchbook isn't terrible, but it didn't knock my socks off. The paper is kind of thin, and water soluble brush markers bled through a little. There is very little tooth to the paper, it's pretty smooth. Having said all that, it took water soluble crayons like Gelato and Neocolor2, as well as colored pencil and graphite. Watercolor on this paper was just ok because the paint just sat in puddles on the surface. I haven't tried acrylic paint yet, but I expect it would work well. The paper is an ivory color. Overall, this is a nice sketchbook for certain applications. The size is great for travel. I would buy it again, but only for dry media.

The only complaint i would have is the thickness of paper. I used markers on it and they bled through completely, the paper did not rip or fall apart though, as long as you have something to put behind it it is fine

It’s very well made and also pretty. (Who wants ugly notebooks?) the paper wrinkled a bit with watercolors, but that’s to be expected. I’m glad I purchased it and I’ll get more in the future.

Soy muy fan de los sketchbooks y este en especial es uno de mis favoritos. Es lindo, fácil de trasportar y el papel es bueno. Tiene un tamaño relativamente pequeño pero por el precio es justo. :)

I've been using this for gouache, pencil sketches and inks and I think it performs really well for it's low price. Very satisfied.

I love this sketchbook for ink and watercolour sketching on the go. My only complaint, and the reason I haven’t given it 5 stars, is that it has cream coloured paper, when I wanted white - I’ve checked the listing again and can’t see that mentioned anywhere. However, the quality is great for the price, it takes ink and watercolour well, and I take it everywhere!

I did not see tiny note that this would arrived in only cellophane unless another box ticked... do not order like this or your sketchbook will arrived damaged. Mine had corner of spine bashed in where had dropped through letter box or damaged in transit. Not impressed!!! I havent open er d it and am sending it back

I have no dislikes for this product. I use it for urban sketchesand small paintings delivered on time.
