I also bought this on audio listening for a couple of days while making notes. The audio version beats reading 16000+ pages and makes it so much easier to understand.

I said it before; at this price you can't go wrong and if you get on with Kindle: its perfect.

Simply amazing! I have hardly started on this large collection of works and I find the translation from German makes me 'double read' occasionally. A fascinating mind to study in my own time and at such a small price too. Great value again from Amazon.

The item description here should make clear that this is not the complete works, but rather the complete works in English translation at around the end of WWI. Some of Freud's most significant ideas had yet to be formulated at this time.

Wanted a concised collection of fried.this one offers that.

His great social commentaries are better than his Psychoanalytic theoretical writings in my opinion. His writings are very revealing about the human condition without the baggage of religion

This is not a complete “Collected Works of Sigmund Freud” as it is missing many of his works.

Half of it is in English and half of it is in German
