Great value, very pleased.
I'm very happy with this purchase! Easy to set up and has some great features. Probably my favorite is the ability to block calls en masse...such as all calls with a "No ID". This has drastically reduced the number of times our phone rings in the evening! You can block up to 250 individual numbers as well. The phones sound very good, have nice big numbers, are easy to use and have a nice heft to them which makes them feel good and substantial in your hand. I have one phone located in our detached garage about 100 feet or so from the base station with a couple of concrete walls between them. It seems to be at limit of reception so I might try out the range extender. We use voice mail through our phone provider so I can not comment on the answering machine function. Nor have I tried the blue tooth to link our cell phones. Even not using those features, I am very satisfied with the value. My only (minor) complaint is the rather poor selection of ring tones. They are all very "digital" and all downright annoying. I know I'm old school but how about something novel...like a ringing bell sound!

Intercom AND link2cell? Too awesome
Set up was incredibly easy. I love that there are rechargeable batteries instead of the battery packs that cost much more to replace. Link2cell setup is easier than setting up bluetooth in your car! And it literally links 2 different cell phones (if you choose). It works like every other bluetooth. You get a phone call and it rings throughout the house, on every handset. Its so much more convenient than carrying around your cell in your house. Having this set also allows you the freedom to leave your phone sitting on a charger while talking on any handset anywhere in the house. You can even place phone calls from the handset using your cell connection to your phone just by clicking "CELL" and typing in whatever number you want to call. Not to mention the convenience of having an intercom without paying the intercom price!! I was actually considering purchasing a traditional 5 piece intercom set for each bedroom in my house (about $300 or more, depending on the brand) and accidentally stumbled upon this phone set. Now I dont have to yell to get my kids' attention or vice versa. Each of my kids have their own handset in each of their rooms and can talk to me right through the handset (on or off speaker) at any time. I can call them and they can call me. You can also call ALL handsets simultaneously on the intercom in case you dont know exactly where others are in the house at that moment. Each handset is assigned a number (0-5) and they simply select the handset they are trying to reach. Even my 6 year old did it with ease his first time. Pretty amazing stuff. Im more than satisfied

Very Pleased
I purchased the Panasonic KX-TGE475S to replace my 12 year old Uniden phones.Pros: Unlike other cordless phones, this system uses NiMH AAA rechargeable batteries. The system came with the batteries, and the batteries work. My phones and base unit continued to work when the power went out in my area due to a bad storm that occurred two weeks after installing the system. The handsets weigh 5.2 oz each (just an ounce less than my Uniden handsets). Each handset comes with a belt clip (I had to purchase those separately for the Uniden). These phones can be synced to two cell phones. I linked my system to an iPhone 7 Plus. I also purchased the Panasonic range extender (Panasonic KX-TGA405B1), and my cell phone does not have to be kept near the base unit to take a call to my cell on the Panasonic handset. The system is bluetooth and wifi compatible so it does not have to used with a landline. I have not experience any static or dropped calls. The keys are large and backlit (a plus for a senior like myself). The Panasonic also has worked perfectly with my phone provider (Xfinity). The Number Call Block is a nice feature that can be used on those calls that manage to slip past Nomorobo. One other nice touch is that you can remotely check your voicemail on any push button phone.Cons: I prefer the color black, but this system only comes in silver. This makes the unit look cheap. The volume is good, but it cannot compare to the Uniden. On the Uniden, it felt like the person was right there in the room with me. On the Panasonic it is somewhat like talking through a tube. The manual is very poorly written. Plan to take some time to scroll through the menus and sub menus in order to set your phone up. It is easier than trying to figure out the manual. The Talking Caller ID is nice but hard to hear--especially if you are watching the television, listening to music, or operating a noisy kitchen appliance like an electric mixer. (Luckily, it also has a flashing call waiting indicator.)I purchased this system and its range extender Used-Like New. The packaging was pristine, and the phone and extender showed no signs of previous use or physical defects. So, save yourself some money. Overall, I recommend this phone system.

Very nice phone system with many features
This phone set came with 5 silver phones with nice large lit displays. The display lights up when press the talk button or a call comes in. Being one of the older folks, close up vision needs the larger sized display.. The 5 phone were enough to cover all the rooms we needed them for. Since this phone set transmits on 5GHz it does not interfere with our WiFi router which transmits on 2.4Ghz which was an issue with our old phone set which we had to replace. This corrected interference issues and noise on calls. This phone system comes with its own voicemail which can be disabled if you already have your own voicemail through your phone service. You have to program the dialup code or phone number for quick access. What we also like is that after the first ring, it announces the caller name on the caller ID. This is especially useful if you are not sure if you have a robo caller or an actual friend or relative calling. You can decide if rather or not you want to get up and pick up the phone. We also like intercom system feature to call phone to phone at times. We are very pleased with this phone system.
