I can't give a review as to the warmth of these pants, as it isn't winter yet here. But they fit and feel great! I was worried they would be an odd fit because of the bulk of the sherpa lining, and while they do look fluffy when you have them on, I do not think it looks too exaggerated or bad. I think these pants will be a better alternative to actually layering pants in the winter. Usually when I layer pants, I am horrendously uncomfortable, and the top pair is always sliding down over the the bottom pair. My hope is these pants will eliminate this problem and be more comfortable. Plus they are pretty cute!!UPDATE: wore these in the cold and they felt great! Kept me pretty warm.

Bought as gift

Walking my dog on cold days, I needed something comfortable & heat worthy. The fleece is an excellent source to retain heat.Downside, they are a bit bulky.

I LOVE these sweatpants. They are so comfortable and warm. I wear them over a very thin pair of long underware. I also bought the sweatshirt with the same material. I have goats, so I spend a lot of time outside and in my barn. Usually I wear a really heavy long coat. But I have not had to wear a coat all winter since I have worn these sweatpants together with my thin long underwear, and I live in Ohio. These sweatpants are very thick with wool like lining, not the standard sweatpants. In combination of these sweatpants, my long underwear and the sweatshirt (of the same material as the sweatpants) I sometimes start sweating I am so warm. This can be when it is 25 degrees outside. The only thing cold on me are my toes, fingers, and face hehehe.I highly recommend these sweatpants. I can't believe these keep me so warm.

This was the third company I tried in my effort to get consistent good quality, sherpa lined sweat pants. The first one fit, but when I ordered another color in the same size, the second one was at least a size too small. The second brand size Large was so tiny that I couldn't even get them on! Finally FINALLY, I tried the open bottom Machlab, and it arrived in gray. THEY FIT! I crossed my fingers and ordered navy same size and they were identical. The quality of these pants is very good, and they are so warm I absolutely love them. The style is fairly close fitting all the way to the ankle, which isn't something I would wear in public, probably. I prefer boot cut pants, but these are very comfortable, and for staying cozy at home in winter, I recommend them highly.

I had to return this because it runs way to large compared to other things I bought in that size. This is very fuzzy & thick & warm . I would recommend others to buy this. I am going to buy another in a size smaller as it runs big.

Got these pants in size XL for a 5.9 tall and slender teenage girl. Very well received, verdict: "Cool". The pants are cozy, comfy, just the right thing to lounge around. The pants are lined with shaggy nice thermal fleece. Still, they do not look too bulky, but are instead nicely cut around the waist and hips, do not not look shapeless at all. So five stars for that. However, I wish they would offer a "tall" line. A lot of pants, these included, barely fit average girls. Often legs too short, OK, these are long enough. But barely so. After several washings they end around the ankles. Would be niceer, if they came 1.5"-2" longer. But pants companies these days want to save on every inch of fabric.Overall: Like!
