Not as good as the originals.
Since last year, when I saw this came out, I knew my niece and nephew would have these, because I always wanted them growing up. I carefully avoided the scalpers and bought these figures as I found them, but I have to say, the scalpers and retailers like Walmart and Amazon enabling them are disgusting.As I write this review, the price is roughly $15.00 on Amazon, which is around $5.00 more retail than what these figures are sold as.Anyways.. I got everything I could get my hands on for these figures. And while they advertise a lot of features, the entire show is kind of stopped short when you realize how cheaply made these are.My nephew is six and he had problems with moving any of the articulation, because they all felt like they were stuck and were going to break. Even as an adult, moving the joins and articulation made me worried I was going to break the toy. And at $10.00 for a single figure, this is completely unacceptable. Especially when GI Joe used to be like $1.99 at my local K-Mart.These figures also don't use the old method of assembly. I was disappointed to see the old rubber band and fisheye hooks were gone, now replaced is delicate, tension based plastic hinges. It isn't an upgrade.All the accessories feel like that cheap soft plastic, the kind of stuff you DON'T want when trying to put it in to tiny little plastic hands.At $10.00 a figure they are barely affordable. At scalper prices, absolutely not. These figures feel cheaply made and ready to break out of the box. I wouldn't recommend them for younger kids.
