Young's Resin Cat Reading Figurine, 13.25-Inch (10616)

I received the 2 cats that I ordered for Christmas gifts today. The ones that I received are more black than bronze or brown. They are very winsome and they make you smile. One I am giving to my adult daughter who loves to read and loves our 2 cats. The other I am going to give to my good friend who is a librarian and who just welcomed stray cat #5 into her family (I believe she needs one more cat especially one that can read)! I think this cat is something of an award! These little figures are heavy and they have felt circles on the base so they won't scratch your furniture with their claws. These are excellent gifts of good quality that will be well received. A good way to say, "Meowy Christmas".

Wonderful x 3.14159..... Perfect for a feline fanatic and professional writer like me. but just as good for a felinophile, bookworm, or anyone who just likes cool stuff. Larger than I was expecting, relatively heavy and quite sturdy. I hope they come out with one considerably larger sometime. Looks great on the same shelf with my museum-quality replica of Bastet (the original, in cat form). Buy several.

It is just the right size, I cannot wait to give it to a co-worker who loves cats, she is going to love it. I is not black it is brown it is very cool looking the glasses are wire very cool. Cute gift for a cat lover.
