Pretty
Great temporary hair dye definitely more pink than red if you want it more red definitely leave on at least an hour that's on bleach blonde hair. I was running low on dye so I just mixed it with a hair conditioner pack and it worked great doesn't seem to damage hair at all

This is the only semi permanent red that doesn't bleed or stain (after) + staying power!
So.... If you have ever used iroiro neon pink, you know, it lasts FOREVER. The jury is still out on this dark red, but so far it's much longer than other reds. The magic is, aside from the first wash out, it really doesn't bleed or stain my pillowcases and clothes like every other red I gave tried. The color is pretty.Dark red is not dark red like a merlot, arctic fox "wrath" or dangeg Jones "Diablo"; it's just a red. If you want it to last and not destroy your bathtub and clothes, iroiro us your girl! 🙂

I’m impressed!
I go to the salon to get my hair bleached & colored and was looking for something to get me through to the next appointment as the color fades. In the past, outside of a salon color I’ve done manic panic and overtone masks, but they fade super fast and leave my tub a red/pink mess. I would use Viral Colorwash shampoo for maintenance and while that works, I want to be able to do a deeper clean every once in a while without worrying about ruining my color. The first photo is what I was starting with. I, on purpose, faded the color in my hair because I was doing a float tank and didn’t want to have my color bleeding in the water. Seemed like a good time to try Iroiro after!Second photo is after using Iroiro Dark Red. I heard it wasn’t a true dark red but more of a richer red, so it seemed like a good fit for what I wanted. When I first started applying, it was so lightweight I thought it wouldn’t be enough! I did manage to get it to cover my whole head though. Once applied, I put plastic wrap on top and let it sit for an hour. The directions didn’t say anything about shampooing it out, so I simply rinsed as much out as I could and used a color-locking conditioner. I then styled as usual. While the color wasn’t exactly a “dark red,” it was definitely a deeper and richer color than expected! Idk if I’d recommend not shampooing after application moving forward though, my hair definitely felt weighed down. The third photo is after two full washes - one with a prose shampoo and the other with colorwow’s clarifying shampoo (I’m starting k18 and wanted a clean base to start). While the water was certainly pink in the shower, the bleeding was far less than you’d expect with a fresh semi permanent red color! The tub managed to not be nearly as stained as I’ve had in the past, even when it’s just the salon color in my hair! I also don’t notice any real fading on the hair yet either. I’m curious to see how the color holds on after more washes, but I’m very impressed so far!As for those “it’s not a dark red” folks - I’d say it’s darkER than a vibrant red, but certainly not a suuuper vampy red. In certain lighting, however, it comes close!Tips - definitely do some sort of plastic wrap while the color sits & leave it in for an hour+ if you can, use color protecting shampoos, conditioners and treatments, and buy yourself some Pink Stuff paste to get any color out of your tub.TLDR: the stuff works and holds well so far! One of the best at-home reds I’ve seen.

Not very strongly pigmented
It came out of the package more brick red than the dark color on the label. Left it on for hours, but after two washes, it’s already significantly faded. Also, this isn’t necessarily a downside but more an FYI: it has more orangey undertones than pink, which may show as it fades (mine went on top of existing pink, so it’s not very apparent for me).

Not Quite the Shade I Imagined 😞
Color: Dark RedI had high hopes for this color based on how beautiful the purple shade from this brand turned out (it was absolutely stunning!). Unfortunately, this red didn’t meet my expectations. I was aiming for a deeper red that matched the bottle, but instead, I ended up with something closer to a flaming watermelon—very bright and pinkish, especially in direct sunlight or bright lighting. It leans more hot pink than red, which just isn’t what I was going for.I used this as a color filler before dyeing my hair black and was hoping it would tint my roots dark red. My hair was pre-lightened (around levels 9–11), so I thought it would take well, but it barely stuck to my roots at all.If your hair isn’t platinum/white, be aware this color may turn out more of a red-orange-pink mix rather than the rich red shown on the box. When I wiped some up with a Q-tip, it looked way more true red—so maybe this color just needs a lighter base to shine. It looked like blood in my hands when I applied it, so I was super excited at first—but sadly, it didn’t deliver that same depth on my hair. I’ll be trying another brand next time.Photos included:Right after dye application (wet)Dry, under different indoor lightingTo show how much lighting affects the color

Awesome stuff!
I've always used arctic fox or manic panic when I dye. I found this stuff at Sally's and tried it out. It is amazing. The color holds better and it doesn't run as awful as the others. The trick is to wash and rinse in cold water, not hot, not luke warm...cold. squeeze out as much water as you can and then wrap immediately in a towel for 20 mins. After removing the towel you need to dry it completely. Do this after the first few washes and you're golden. I have white pillows still (even sweating at night) and if it gets wet in the rain my neck and face aren't changing colors. Don't knock a product without the knowledge of how to use them properly. There's always tips and tricks out there.
