The best paper for writers
I love printing my short stories are on this paper. The weight and color of the paper is beautiful and sturdy. It really makes a story stand out and look professional. I wrote a short story as a Christmas present for my best friend, and it really made the story look and feel special.

Outstanding Paper Makes a Good Impression
As the old saying goes, people initially judge a book by its cover. Thus, when I want to make a good impression, I print important letters on high-quality paper. But these days, finding a high-quality paper is a challenge. Fortunately, Southworth R14ICF 100% Cotton Resume Paper Ivory is the solution and the right choice.Southworth's paper looks classy, and it's affordable -- it makes a great impression. Also, my Samsung Laser Printer prints perfectly on this paper, which was not true with some other paper brands.

Excellent paper with one small flaw
I use this paper for writing letters, along with the Southworth 100% Cotton envelopes that one can purchase separately. The paper feels sturdy and has a great texture to it. I write with a fountain pen, usually for letters just a Pilot Metropolitan, and the biggest concerns are always if the ink will feather (when it soaks into the fibers and spreads a little bit making your lines look kind of fuzzy) and whether the ink will show through to the back of the page. This paper takes ink like a champ, staying super crisp and clean and requiring no pressure. It's really lovely to write on and I find myself taking some extra time writing letters because I honestly just enjoy writing on this paper.Black ink looks very sharp on this ivory paper. You can write on both sides of the page, and as long as you're not holding it up to the light you cannot see the ink from the other side, which is a great thing. Compared to other "fine" papers, I find it pretty affordable at the $8/100 sheets price, especially if you're only using it occasionally for special projects. As for the watermark, which you'll see mentioned in a lot of these reviews: it's the only thing I knocked a star off for. It isn't bad, it isn't overwhelming if you're not actually holding the paper to the light to see it, and it's otherwise not really that noticeable; honestly my biggest problem with it is that it isn't in the same place on every sheet. Actually it doesn't seem to be in the same place on ANY sheet. It gives it any letter with more than one page a very slightly sloppy look because it doesn't quite match, but I'd be surprised if anyone really genuinely got offended by a slightly noticeable watermark.I left this review while ordering another box, and intend to continue using this product for the foreseeable future.

Good paper, but might be "pearls before swine" for a lot of people
Good paper. Quality paper. I use these for hand written notes that I write with caligraphy pen or fountain pen. Noodler's Bulletproof Black ink and a triple fold with red wax seal usually completes it.A nice and crisp heavy stock that soaks up good ink, doesn't feather, and doesn't bleed through. This is what quality paper can be.I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about the watermark - this is good paper with the paper maker's name and material in light watercolor. This is a sign of quality, but a lot of people think they're "too good" for this? Southworth paper was used by men, like Abraham Lincoln, for correspondence.Quality paper with a proud watermark is good enough for United States' presidents, but isn't good enough for people spamming out wedding invitations or thank you cards I guess. This is like driving a BMW and complaining about all the BMW emblems on your car.Or getting a Montblanc pen and complaining about the white star or the Montblanc etched inscription on the cap. This is highly archival cotton paper, which is known to last hundreds of years without appreciable fading, discoloration, or deterioration. Combined with good ink, you will have a document that lasts a long long time.Hence the watermark proof of quality. Even Strathmore paper will have a watermark. If you don't like the watermark, you can search around for companies that will make custom orders, but the quality will not be the same. Or just stick to generic and cheap pulp paper. If you honestly don't know/care about paper, why even use quality paper?

Quality paper
It’s a nice material. It’s not too thin but not too thick either, its appearance is awesome and professional and gives your resume that extra touch of class.
