Do not buy the $21 item! Does not last! Get the $35.!
I love this item! My Sophia is a 14 yr old Havanese with many health issues: Cushings Disease, “Leaky” Heart Valve, Very painful back - not sure if from arthritis. It is fairly easy to tell when she is in pain. I see it in her expressions, she pants, if I gently run my fingers down her back you can see the skin move in a wave like form. From everything my vet has told me this (last mentioned) is a definite !! I have used two of these for her. The change is amazing. She is relaxed and sleeps so much better. The panting in night ended. She sees a cardiologist for her heart issues and an internists for Cushings. Recently she did not want to eat. On her walk she strained and strained to have a small liquid BM. I did not realize this is behavior related to pain. I had not reordered her PetPatch. I had told her doctor about it weeks earlier. She knew nothing about these being available for pets. Told me to order again!! She also said she had patients in pain that cannot take Meds and will recommend this to others. Sadly the third one ordered simply did not work at all. I was concerned when I pushed button to turn on. It was too easy. Normally you must push very hard against a hard surface as instructions explain. I returned today and ordered another. I believe these last longer than the 720 hrs. ( think what they say)! I have a very bad back problem and have tried myself when Sophia allows me to borrow. It is great. You will be very pleased with this product. Just know if you happen to get one that has problem and return for refund and paid shipping. They sent me a prepaid label. Ask if not offered to you.

Helped tremendously in healing a large, sutured skin wound on a small dog
So I can't be 100% certain that this worked but I have high confidence that it did. My small Pomeranian dog was attacked by a larger dog and sustained a life threatening wound that extended across her entire back. The vets surgically repaired the wound but after a week, a large section of tissue died and she had to have a second surgery. The vets were not sure if she would have enough skin to close the wound or if it lose viability a second time. A student vet friend recommended the Assisi but it's by Rx only and costs a ton. I did some research and found the PetPatch Loop as a cheaper but less powerful alternative. I used masking tape to attach the loop over my dog's back (outside the bandage). I taped it flat across and not around her body. The instructions say simply to encircle the area being treated, which was only her back and not the underside of her belly. I then left it on constantly for several days. At her next bandage change, the vet tech was absolutely shocked at how well the wound had healed. I was also able to see that the area within the circle was almost perfectly healed, while the area I couldn't cover within the loop had not healed as well, leading me to believe it was actually working. My dog made a 100% recovery, much to the surprise of the folks at the vet clinic (although they also did an amazing job on her second surgery, so I can't leave that out either). I do think this device helped to speed her healing and increased blood flow to the area, helping the skin to remain viable and close properly.

This did absolutely nothing for me.. Fibromyalgia..
I had high hopes ..I guess too high.. With fibro it was difficult to decide where to use it, k owing it would only be good for several hours and cannot be recharged then my 40$ would be in the landfill!I decided to use it on my extremely painful arm.. I taped it on as instructed..and waited for the magic, at least SOME relief..Nothing..I only succeeded in spending 40$.. That's 4 hours (1\2 day) of hard work it cost me.. Before the government took their share..I really wish I could honestly give this thing even a little bit of a good review, but I can't!

Hard to keep on
I can't really give this a honest rating because I only used it on my dog about 3 times before one of my other dogs picked it up when came off and chewed it up >:( The reason for the 3 stars is because it really was very hard to keep on my dogs leg and this is the reason I won't order another one even thought I would have like to see it over time it would have helped her ACL/CCL injury since surgery is financially out of the question.

Not sure if it helped
I pulled a glute muscles in an ice skating show resulting in pain and stiffness. I used this device for the first 5 days by keeping it snug against the muscle while doing household chores. I still had lots of stiffness when bending and needed to stretch and do light movement to relieve pain. I really couldn't tell if this device helped. It's been 5 weeks since the pull and I'm 95% recovered.
