If it is a 5 lbs. bag why is shipping 3 lbs.

HEllo,Because the cost matrix that Amazon uses would charge way too much shipping if we showed it as a 5 lb cost. The product that is shipped weighs 5 lb but the cost matrix in order to be more accurate to the actual shipping cost is about 3lb.
