Works with Suzuki with a little modification
Product is as advertised. I had to drill out the hole in the console a little to make it fit through the opening, otherwise it works like a charm. The switch makes contact (closes) when the lanyard is pulled, so the switch has to close to make the motor shut off. This is not "fail-safe" but is designed to allow the motor to run if the switch is broken and doesn't make contact for some reason (corrosion for example). That way, you're not stranded out on the water because of a bad switch. Make sure you test the switch periodically to make sure it's working.

Works fine but not a Universal fit - check measurements
Kill switch works exactly as intended BUT had to use a Dremel tool to enlarge the fitting on the dash. It is quite a bit bigger than the original for my Suzuki 140 engine. Recommend comparing your original to product specs before ordering.

When cord is pulled motor runs, not stops
This device needs to be wired to the ignition circuit to work correctly. You just can't wire it motor to device to battery. If you do that and pull the cord the motor will run, not stop.
